Thank you all for your input, because you have all pushed me towards the Browns. Besides the fact that a couple of you have used the dreaded four letter word that starts with "L", 81% of the public are taking Indy and the line hasn't moved. Vegas is not going to lose money on Cleveland. Also, take a look at the trends. For Cleveland:
Browns are 13-6 ATS in their last 19 vs. AFC.
Browns are 9-4 ATS in their last 13 home games.
Browns are 18-8 ATS in their last 26 games overall.
Browns are 14-3 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.
Browns are 15-7 ATS in their last 22 games on grass.
And the Colts:
Colts are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 road games vs. a team with a losing home record.
Colts are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games following a ATS win.
As bad as I think the Browns are, everything here points to them covering. Take the Browns and make your dough. GLA!
Dude, thank YOU for your input. The 88% on Indy (and no movement) combined with these trends is enough for me to take Cleveland for a small play.

I like the Browns at home getting 5 points in this one. The line sure does seem off a bit. I think Anderson will make some decent throws today and hopefully Edwards and company won't drop them lol.
Browns +5 for a LARGE sized play

Hope everybody had a nice holiday.

Peyton M is back in the saddle again just in time for that Playoff run vs string o' soft teams (Clev. CIN. Det.) The soap opera continues in Cleveland,NO way brownies will match points vs Indy.

dont bet the house weather could be a factor...rain and mid to high winds lessen manning's potency and increase home field advantage; the bad weather could leave indy with less mettle as compared to cleveland as they are away from home. but then again manning is a competitor and colts need the win.

C Saturday and S Sanders out for Indy. Those are two parts of their team. How many games can Vinateri win with a late 50-yd FG? Probly a few more but not in windy Cleveland.
Today:
Rain. High around 40F. Winds ESE at 10 to 20 mph. Rainfall around a quarter of an inch.
I see Anderson getting another chance and taking advantage of it here. Have yet to pull the trigger yet but strong lean on Clev +5.

This line is very fishy--Being from Cleveland and a Browns fan, this line should be at 7 at least. The Browns are beat up defensively, players are calling out the O.C., and the coach is dead man walking. The team didn't even show up last week and that been reported by various sideline reporters. This team is a mess and I just can't see the Colts not beating the Browns by at least 20.
The Browns secondary is horrible at everything--can't tackle, can't cover, and the D-Line GETS ZERO PRESSURE if its not Shaun Rogers (and he's banged up). On offense your going back to the original starter Derek Anderson who the home crowd doesn't like (throws better ball but crowd will boo first bad throw guarentee), Edwards another player who the crowd is against because he can't catch period. So basically right now the Browns wish this game was in Indy
Manning wil pick apart this defense since he will have all day to throw. Also the Browns give up chunks of yards against the rush so wouldn't be surprised if Addai gets over 130.....
Only way Browns make this a game is if its a shootout, and I just don't see Edwards catching the ball consistently....Colts 38 Browns 17

ur all saying take the colts, but y not jsut take the over i think it is a much easier pick, both defenses stink and if bob sanders is out it should be a shootout

Hello All, this is my first post on Covers... I live in Dayton Ohio, centrally located between Indy, Cincy, Cleve and Pitt. I work with alot of Brown fans and they are throwing in the towel, same as the team. Jamal Lewis hit the nail on the head a couple of weeks ago after they blew a lead against Denver on the Thursday night game.. he mentioned the "quit" word. not good. Indy is starting to get on a roll since they beat my beloved Steelers a couple of weeks ago. I like Peyton Manning in this game - he will throw 2 - 3 TD's (I'm banking on it since he is my FF QB). Look for a score like 27 - 17 Colts. GL All.

I love the Colts here. They HAVE to win, and manning is getting back in the groove. Lame ass anderson got a contract and then cagged it hard. Now he gets to play again because of injury.....if he doesn't come out playing decent right out the gate the fans will let him have it, and this game will get ugly early. Also, I think the line is right on. I think indy is being undervalued because of how they played the first half of the season. I hate playing with the public, but this public isn't ALWAYS wrong, right?
PS-indy secondary is pretty stingy.

The Browns defense is terrible, they can't tackle or stop anything. Indy's defense has come around, secondary is quick. Colts should roll by more than 5.
