The early line will probably look like +1 or thereabouts. These teams know each other so well and always play close games. Don't let the 1-14 record against the Colts fool ya. History may say 1-14, but there have been several games that could have gone either way at the end. The Colts are entering a portion of the schedule now where they don't have to take as many chances. They have a 5 game lead in the division and a 3 game lead for home field throughout the playoffs......with only 6 to play. Houston's loss Monday night has put them in a position of "all or nothing " type football. This game will be close ( again ), but Colts are the better team and will win. Don't give more than 4 points here though if your taking the Colts !

even if the line is - 0.5 i will not be touching this game.

reasons:

1- indi do not need this win.

2- houston is pissed about the loss to tenn.

3- houston neeeeeeds the win .

Gary Kubiak is by far the worst coach in the nfl. This man has some of the most talent in the league and cannot win more than eight games in any given year. He makes chris brown his main rb when he has one of the most dynamic rb's in the league on his roster in slaton. i know about the fumbles but with his catching ability to go along with A. Johnson their offense should be almost unstoppable. he basically over coaches every game that always results in a close loss. Can you imagine if Shanahan had his hands on this team??

I thought he coached Monday Night's game very well.... use of timeouts, ect.... the Texans are the youngest team in the NFL.... if they don't make the playoffs this year then they definitely will next year

The Colts are playing well, as always.  I don't think Schaub and Houston will be able to stay within a field goal.  Should be a great game to watch, though

This is a must win game for the Texans and with that comes a game plan that usually includes taking some chances you wouldn't normally take. This could result in turnovers or big plays if your the Houston offense. Still, the Colts are the better team and I'll be giving the 3.5 . People talk about the Colts secondary being vulnerable. Yes there are two rookies starting, but if you've followed this team like I have, you'd know that these two kids have been starting practically the whole season. The result..............the Colts allow the fewest points per game in the NFL. There obviously doing something right in Indy and the recent close games are just an indication of a team with poise. Colts will win, but it'll be another good game to watch.

the colts just stink....my grandmother and i could take them....

it will be a half unit bet given it is a homer.....

   I'm sorry Breaka Bookie- but I gotta disagree with you on this one! LW was the must win game for the Texans in a very winnable game against the Titans! While Kubiak had them playing excellent defense, he wasted the talents of an exceptional QB and receiving corp ,against the miserable pass defenses of Tennessee. While am very aware of many close contests between these 2 teams, this year have to show a little more balls, by covering a measly 3 1/2 pts. I mean "C'mon man"- do you think that Indy is going to chance blowing its perfect season!!

I'm leaning towards Texans +3.5.  The Colts haven't won by more than 4 for the past four weeks.  The Texans can play them close.  Another 20-17 game wouldn't surprise me.  In reality though, this will probably be a no play for me.

vue... i hear ya lol... they should have covered and I bet them to cover... but 2 missed fgs is hardly the coaches fault... besides saying the coach needs to get a new kicker lol....

 

I think this will be a shootout.... Houston will be fighting for their lives and Manning keeps playing for home field...

last time these 2 met everyone including me thought it would be high scoring and we all were wrong...

but this time I think differently..... call it a hunch but I like the

Colts in the OVER... reverse...

buying a 2 points to bring it to 2.5, same thing on the Over...

it's in a dome so overs are always safe there....

2 stats.... Manning's Colts have only lost to the texans once....

they have won like 18 regular season games.... (don't know the exact stat)

Manning is also going for Marino's single season passing yards record quietly

With the Colts comfortable on top of the AFC conference, look for the Colts to take it easy this week. Even if they lose, they won't be too effected by it. With them up this big, don't expect the Colts to use all their secret plays on a relatively useless game.

The Texans are in a must win position especially after losing last week. Look for them to play some inspired football this week. To the person above who thinks this will be a shootout. Let me just say if the Colts are to lose a game, don't expect them to lose in a shootout. The Texans defense will show up this week. The coaches didn't allow Peyton to practice much this week, which will probably mean they will not be trying 100% on offense. I don't usually play under/overs, but the under will hit if the Texans win the game.. which they will.

DbombSV, Dude if you think this is the week the Colts back off offensively, your mistaken. They are in no position ( yet ) to be backing off from anything. They will play all out this week because nothing is locked up yet. Expect more points than the last time and give the 3.5. Manning will have a big day and the Colts will win another tough ballgame. As for the offense not trying 100% , rest assured that even the Browns try 100%  every week !

Much has been made of Colts winning last 4 by a combined 10 points . To me all that means is they are overdue for a larger winning margin . Colts -3.5 BIG , bank-it .
