It's very difficult to fade the Colts in this spot. The colts will come out and play mistake free football on monday night in front of a national audience. They will be hosting the pats in two weeks and will send a clear message tonight. Lay the points on an easy cover. Smart money on the colts. Gotta take the favorite tonight

 Here's one point I don't think anyone has mentioned yet.  If you've followed Indy the past couple of years, you'll know that 2 places they've struggled is at Tennessee and at Jacksonville.  So far this year, in my humble opinion, the AFC South is the toughest division in the NFL.  Jacksonville has the formula which best counteracts the Colts.  The Jags play great defense, and they have a solid running game.

What's the best way to stop Peyton Manning and the Colts offense.  As far as I can see, you can't.    You can, though, hope to contain them by keeping them watching the game from the sidelines.  Look for the Jags to match a few defensive stops with a strong rushing effort and a domination in the time of possession battle.

 

Jacksonville wins outright        24-17

A little more money has gone to J-ville to make it 79%-21%, so it is hard to take the Colts.  I still like the colts to win this game outright and all of the "stars" on Indy are probably which means that they will play this big game and coming off the bye makes me believe even stronger that Indy wins, I just don't like -3 at almost 80%.  They are supposed to have scattered showers after 8 o'clock and we know how much j-ville runs the ball so it seems like the under is the right play.......but I am going with my gut.  I like the Colts to win SU and I like it to be fairly high scoring (39-46 pts).  So I am going to go with Colts teased to +3 and Over 39.5, just like I had stated earlier this week, stickin to my guns.  Maybe Colts -2.5 in first half also, I think they come out pretty strong, up by 9 at half.  Good luck.
BTY-Hunted-When I said I went 10-11 in college ball on saturday, that meant 10 OUT OF 11, not 10 AND 11...Keep on keepin on..

FYI - If anyone cares, Jags have the most Wins in the NFL on Monday Night Football    Heard that on ESPN a little while ago.  Just though I'd share.

Harrison will go.
 
Jax has beaten Hou, KC, Den & Atl, and lost to Tenn. I'm not impressed. Jax is live in this game due to home field & history between division rivals, but I'll back the defending champs at a short price and revenge on their mind. This is my largest play of the season to date.

Long time, first time.  Appreciate the perspective of all. Bye work hurts not helps offensive team requiring some timing and precision.  Practice just doesn't cut.  Jags fit right in if you looked up how to beat the Colts in the dictionary... strong front 4, run stoppesr, and pass rush up middle which won't allow Payton to step up.  We have seen this script before.

Last weeks performance by Jags on road with 20 pt win tells me so much, for a team to be so focused prior to big monday night is a direct indication they will play well tonight.  Plus, getting a FG just in case. 

Biggest play of weekend, 3 unit on Jags +3 +105.  GL to all and most importantly.. enjoy the game.

Peyton Manning isn't the same animal, on grass, and away. Take a look. Least of all vs AFC South opponent. This will be one snore fest, low-scoring, and Jags controlling clock, regardless of weather.
Too many leaning toward Indy here. Addai isn't at a full adjustment, and I've never been sold on him, as it were. Keith will still have carries tonight, and that'll only harm the Colts point total.
Take the under, and JAGS moneyline. Jones-Drew busts out on this one:  Jacksonville 23 Indianapolis 17

John Carney is 0-2 on field goal attempts longer than 40 yards, his longest is 37 yards. Vinatieri's longest is 39, however, it's because Colts score TD's.
 
Yeah, we all know about Sanders not being in last year and the 375 yards rushing, but the key person returning is TE Dallas Clark. Manning and Clark will work the middle and keep the chains moving.
 
Ed Werner just gave us an update on Marvin Harrison, he's fine.
 
Of course ESPN is going to promote Jax because they want people watching, but it's almost too much Jax over-exposure. Colts come out firing, limiting the Jax running game, forcing Garrard to beat them.
 
Colts roll by 10 first half, win by 7.
