This line seems very low, but when you add the standard 3 for home field advantage plus 1/2 - 1 point for a home field night game you come out with INDY - 9.5 or - 10.... People would actually feel more comfortable knowing Vegas expected a blowout from a dead team....
Night home games always get the home team fired up, but the Colts are obviously much better...What is the Colts motivation, I guess they need one more win to get in..
Tough pick on the total as well... Indy will score, but who knows how well there D plays.....
Maybe a good play on Indy over 24.5
BOL to all

Not to take away from Indy's recent success, but no team has been treated better by the schedule makers. The Colts' last four wins have come against deeply troubled teams, San Diego, Cleveland, Cincinnati and Detroit.
Tred carefully all. BOL to all
Both Cleveland and Cincinnati beat Jacksonville this year. The Browns did so in Jacksonville. No need to tred carefully, dive right in and bank this winner.

The injury originally was listed as a knee injury, but Dungy said it was a hamstring. The results of an MRI were not revealed. Harrison did not make the trip with the team.
The holder of virtually every major receiving record for the Colts, Harrison has played in every game this season after missing 11 last year with a knee injury.
The 13-year veteran is the Colts’ third-leading receiver this season with 53 receptions for 605 yards and five touchdowns.
Harrison had only two catches for 22 yards in a 31-21 win over Detroit last week. He caught four passes for 40 yards and a touchdown in the Colts’ 23-21 loss to Jacksonville in Week Three.
Anthony Gonzalez, who has been effective as a third receiver, will start opposite Pro Bowler Reggie Wayne. Gonzalez has 52 catches for 614 yards and four scores.
The Colts (10-4) have reeled off seven straight victories and can secure a seventh straight playoff berth with a win over the Jaguars.
this doesnt bother me as a colts backer. wayne/gonzalez/clark are more than enough targets for manning.

Yeah, back from the box. Anyhow, I spoke to a couple mods and they explained there are some users who have multiple accounts and will try and bash a guy for his picks and success. I even noticed someone created fpronk2...ha. But, I am here to make my plays and most a couple blogs on the games I really like...other than that, I won't have much to say. Good Luck!

I won't compare the Colts to Green Bay, but I will compare bigdaddyhpd to Boludojones.
Let's look at one statistic -- number of covers posts:
bigdaddyhpd - 5453 Boludojones - 90
It would appear that in a head-to-head matchup, Big Daddy could cover a spread of 5000 without much problem.
B-jones, I'm sure you're a heckuva guy, but write this down -- bigdaddy's made a lot of people around here some good cake for years now. I think a little more respect is in order. And I'm a Python fan too.
That said, I am leaning on Indy here. I think they have so much more to play for, and have been much more consistent. The one thing that concerns me is their running game on offense this year. But I also know that this is a team that knows how to focus on and correct problems -- I think they'll figure it out here and deliver a solid win. They have not had very many convincing double-digit wins this year, and I think they're due for one.
Still thinking, but for now a solid lean toward Indy -6.5. Might see if it goes to -6.
Thanks for the back up bro. If that guy thinks he can get me mad at an immature statement such as that he must be crazy
Good luck & Happy Holidays to you and the family

The Colts offense sucks, they barely beat the helpless Lions, they may be on a role but they are no where near a Superbowl team. Pitt will beat them up and down the field, don't be surprised to an upset tonight.
Jags 24 Colts 17

This number is too big. These two teams ALWAYS play close slugfest games. Look for Indy to win inside the number yet again, I'd even take Jax at +4.5
Exactly. Those who think Indy will rolll might want to do their research. Every year this is one game I bet no matter what and its usually the same story, of the Colts being a big favorite and should kill the Jags, and every year the Jags nearly win SU. Could Indy cover? sure...but I would not say they roll. Taking the jags. GL all

Have been watching Logans Sportsbook..just went down .5 pt to Ind -6. My head tells me IND but heart is with the Jags. Leaning Under 44 b/c of MJD, Harrison out along with Peyton's long ass drives. TNF over trend is not in my favor.

Ha Ha Ha....That is too funny. Welcom back Big Dawg!
Happy Holidays!
Good to be back bro & Happy Holidays to you and the family as well my brother
DrDogs That's exactly what I'm talking about. I can never understand on how these threads always turns into a competition against each other as oppose to trying to help each other win some money from Vegas or their local.
Anyway back to this match up...
I'm just simply stating my own " opinion " which could be way off and it would not be the first time but the Colts have had their problems blowing teams away this season and I just simply feel that this normally close rivalry game should not be any different with or without the injuries.
And of course if I'm wrong I always man up and come back on here to post that I was wrong.

if there is a trap its this game, just makes no sense how 80 - 85 % of the bets are on indy, but the lines not moving, im in on that 85 % though for 6 units, so lets hope its no trap
See you at the window.

And Cincy tied the Eagles who beat the Giants, and the Cardinals...The Giants lost to the Browns...I could go around and around and around, just please tell me you dont make your betting decisions based on common opponents in the NFL....

yeah - i expect him to easily get 20 touches tonight. if the jags can jump out early, a steady dose of mojo will be in store for the colts - even if they dont play from ahead, he'll be a factor in the screen game. i dont like the total, but can see the under coming in barely. something like a 27-17 final.

After seeing the Houston Jax game I am amazed Jax has won again. They looked like they could not wait until the season was over and barely care if they were playing. Indy is lookig for the playoffs, gotta take Indy in this one
