Note that the word offence or offense can be spelt either way and is completely acceptable. Neither spelling of the word is wrong which makes you wrong and a tad ignorant for pointing it out. Now within the USA it is generally spelt offense and everywhere outside of the USA it is spelt offence. The word was not created in the USA so push come to shove the correct original spelling of the word is offence. I have provided a link for you below so you can go ahead and educate yourself.
