Indy is 7-8-1 ATS in the L-16 vs Houston however the lowest spread they have lost was a -6.5 line with a game at HOU in 2006 as a -6 fav. Indy also pushed at HOU in 2008 as a -4 fav. When you go SU only then INDY is 15-1 vs HOU in the L-16.
Since December 2006 (including both above mentioned games) Indy is 2-4-1 ATS vs HOU and 1-1-1 at HOU.
Line is at Indy-3 at time of this post and I feel it should stay that way till right before gametime when SOME books will try and screw Indy backers with a -3.5 line.
The Titans can set the tone early in the season with a win here vs division rival Indy. HOU is 0-3 SU in September games vs Indy and 1-2 ATS in those games.
At HOU in 2002 HOU was +10 and lost 23-3, in 2006 HOU was +13.3 at INDY and lost 43-24, in 2007 at HOU the Texans were +6.5 and lost 30-24.
In Houston's L-20 games as a DOG of +4 OR LESS they are 11-9 SU and 11-7-2 ATS. In those L-20 they were the home team for 10 games and went 5-5 SU and 5-3-2 ATS as dogs.
Indy is 15-5 SU as Favs of -4 or less in thier L-20 overall and in those games was 13-6-1 ATS. They are 12-3 in road games during those L-20 and 11-3-1 ATS.
I've gotta think it WILL be a close game but I have to back Indy and Manning here.
My guesstimate is IND-30 HOU-24 in a close one for the ATS win as well.

Every year it's trendy to say the Colts are gonna fall off and this is finally the year Houston's gonna be good. Every year the Colts are good and Houston falls short. Gotta go with Peyton laying the 2.
Colts -2

Hey , Colonel Your a kid.So I'll go with your pick. No kidding
Yea sj, when I was a kid I bought a Coke from a soda machine for a dime, and topps bubble gum cards were a nickel. Wish I could turn back the clock my friend. By the way sj, Johnny Unitas was just starting his career as the Colt QB when I was a kid, lol.

This spread is a gift....I am all over this...indy will be up by 14 at halftime...Hou has high expectations but always falls! Ride this spread to the bank.

Indy looks like a safe play backing peyton but the over is looking pretty ... pretty.. pretty good. everytime i hear of this matchup one words comes to mind. shoot out.. ok two words idk im not into trends unless theyre comepletely lobsided bottom line past 9 out of 10 have gone over this total, past 9 out of 10 matchups indy has won su and covered this spread 9 out of 10 times. Houston has beat indy since 2006 if those trends dont make this play for me really nothing is going to soo im going over and peyton for the same amout thinking the worst thing that can happen if i break even either way i dont see both texans covering and it not being a shoot out

keep in mind the line was at Indy -3 then went down to Indy -2 indicating either the books are messing with my mind or money is goin on Houston I'm still on Houston myself I think..I think they cover this

I'm not going against a team that has won 12 games or more in something like 6 or 7 straight seasons!!!! Especially when it is such a narrow spread. Indy gets this done in a very, very good game. Houston makes them work for it all 60 minutes. I got Indy here!
