I've been ridin' high with underrated Baltimore all year, but I made the foolish mistake of taking the Cowgirls over 'em last week - and look what happened!!!!!!!!

Even with that said - we all know the implications of this game to the Ravens, but thirteen??? THIRTEEN!!!!?!?!?!? Jax is bad, but not that bad. I might just stay away from this game altogether - put my money on something else.......

Root for Ravens. Ravens to win, but Jags to cover.

Im taking Ravens as my final pick of the week. 13 looks big, but it's really not. BAL finished strong last week, and JAX finished horrible against INDY, blowing the 4th Q lead. Jac has nothing to play for and Balt has everything to play for, with leaders like Reed and Lewis.
 
All it takes is one turvover in a neck and neck game to make it a 14 point win, and Balt is home in this one. When a Florida team goes north in the winter, they usually lose, only one team has a reason to play thru the pain here, 4 quarters is a long time to keep in within 12.5.

Actually I got my bet in on Sunday night at only -12, and some books still have it at -12.5. Early bird gets the worm buddy.

Jax to cover if not win outright..  Balt is already thinking about their playoffs and this game means nothing to them.. Jack Del Rio is a spiteful bastard and will have his team firing..

This is a weird game to pick.  If NE loses in the early games then Baltimore might not even play anyone.  I think 13 might be too much for the Ravens to cover.  It's so weird how the Ravens are only 14-1 to win the Superbowl now.....who would have thought?

      why would balt do that? they need to win to get in if new england wins which new england should

I agree with bigrazz....

Anyone who thinks the Ravens will be resting anyone has done no research.

They have leaders in Lewis and Reed that guarantee an all out performance, while JAX is totally devoid of any leadership.

Hey Guys, why has the line moved all the way down to 11? Are people really betting more on the Jags at your books? Hard to beleive the dog would be the public fav here, with a good team playing for a playoff spot vs. a bad team that has nothing to play for.
