Orlovsky is out with a thumb injury on his throwing hand.
 
 
 
Cullpepper will practice on Wednesday.
 
 
 
 
The Lions coaches do not seem to be very high on Drew Stanton.....with the OC saying last week he wouldn't want to throw Stanton into a game just so he could embarass himself.
 
 
 
 
 
If Daunte can pick up even a little bit of the offense, I would expect to see him start.........either way, neither 1 of these QB's is going to bring what Orlovsky has the past 3 weeks.
 
 
 
Covered against Minny, didn't cover against Washtub (depending on what number you had, I had 7), covered against Da Bears.   The Lions had a chance to win every one of these games.

I'm concerned about the QB position but regardless, Jacsonville has struggled....I like Det.to get their first win here

The Lions struggle against the run. I can see the duo in the Jax back to rack up 100+ yards together. With Dante just stepping in, I see some timing problems and at least one interception. Early lean on Jax -6

Strongly considering Jacksonville here. Detroit is a bad team with a QB who knows the playbook. Now throw Culpepper in there and they're worse. They played tough last week, but they are still a bad team. 2 weeks ago this line would have been 10+. 6.5 is a gift. I'm going to keep a close eye on this one, but definitely early lean on Jax.

bad as jax is, det is worse! going jax/un parlay. culpepper will need time to learn playbook/timing routes. plus is he in game shape??

Jax is gonna be pissed and playing not be embarrassed by winless teams twice in a row. DET, a horrible team to begin with, will be playing with a QB who doesnt know the plays.

Really........the same QB who is back playing in a Dome and said earlier this week that some of the terminology is the same as when he was in Minny?

 

 

Or is it because the Jags have more team drama/locker room problems than the Raiders do?     You know, the same Raiders with the coaching problems and who just let Hall go and has everyone on the team questioning why?

 

 

 

You are entitled to your opinion, and can make any play you want, but at least come in with some knowledge so that some poor guy who doesn't know any better blindly tails you.

 I live here in Detroit and this team is a mess. Forget the QB, the Lions might have to start their 3rd string center! Remember, Culpepper has fumbled more than any other QB in NFL history. No sell out here either. The Lions will get pummeled Sunday.

Cullpepper has not played in  a year Detroit can't stop the run or pass. Detroit can't run  Line is only 6.5  because no one believes that Detroit can pull off 0-16 I believe!!! Take Jacksonville and the over

The Detroit Lions suck and do not deserve to have any money put on them at all.  They are averaging only 16 points per game at home this year, while allowing 35 points per game.  The Jaguars like to run the ball, the Lions can't stop the run.  The Jags have one of the better front seven in the NFL, the Lions have a backup center, a quarterback who just got here this week, and very little running game.  It's going to get a lot worse in Detroit, believe it or not.

in the same token the jags lost to the browns, at home, and they suuuuuuck. would not touch this game. perfect time for a detriot win, with a new qb. whenever people bet heavy on another team, cause they have another qb in, almost every time, that team covers.

0-5 when line is 7.5 points or less.
Lions played well last week but need all the points they can get.
