I like your under pick Jim. With you on the under - Not touching the side, but would lean toward the fins being at home and hold a 2-0 record over the Jags last 2 seasons

ok guys, made up my mind.going w/JAX and UNDER here.really like the under alot, just think del rio has a stronger pre record and after last season will be looking to get started early.plus the weather might be a factor as well(have to check on it)hurricane out in the atlantic might bring in some heavy weather.pennington won't be in more than a series or two(??)after that it's back-up eval time w/ them getting lots of work.

Miami -1 1st Half -3 Game --- At first, JAX was my pick...Then I thought for a minute...JAX is the logical pick...There not much worse the the Dolphins, plus there getting 3 points...Plus, they now have Holt, a Legit #1...Then I thought about this again...This is a Bill Parcells team, and while everyone might think that he doesnt care about winning Pre-season games, how do you explain the 3-1 ATS record last Pre-season? Again, this is a Parcells team, and if you dont play your ass off, you wont be on that team much longer...Also, they have brought in new investors, and while Pre-season doesnt mean to much, to them it actually means a lot to put a Win up...Especially at Home...IMO, thats big. Not to mention, E.Monroe is going to be limited, and JAX O-Line, doesnt really suck that bad, but isnt very good.
Now, I might be wrong with my pick, but I dont think I am. They went 3-1 ATS last year, and 11-5 SU in Reg Season. Sparano is no joke and doesnt expect anything less from these guys...And IMO Henne is a good QB. Pat White does scare me a little, but I think he makes a few plays with his feet, and they win by 4+...Now I just need to figure out who I like in the NYG game.

Sorry bigdaddy, I'm going against your fish in the opener.
I just like that Jag pre-season dog ATS record.
What's up my friend No biggie as you know I don't touch pre-season games at all so enjoy anf good luck with this one.
The Dolphins have a big competition going on at WR. From what I heard Ted Ginn has shined in camp and so did some other wr's. Patrick Turner the rookie from USC has looked great from what I heard. I'm looking for the Dolphins to air it out in this game to test their wr's and get a better idea before season starts.
From what I read in reports Chad Pennington seems to have gotten over that noodle arm and has been actually throwing some bombs out in camp. Chad Henne did improve towards the end of camp so it will be interesting to see how he plays. Pat White has fumbled from taking snaps behind center a few times and from what I read they say he seems more comfortable out of shotgun but his passes been off target a lot during camp.
Reports say the Dolphins defense has shined as well in camp but the corners got burned a couple of times in camp for long td's. The defense will be interesting to watch this season with the new db's and the return of Jason Taylor.
Prediction = enjoy the game and don't wager on preseason games. Save your money for some beer and women.
Aloha and good luck
