Raiders got to be really deflated after coming so close to beating the Falcons.

Which makes me like the Jags coming off the bye even better

JAgs have mailed it in for the year. OAkland has shown they want to play ball.  Aerial superiority has been the key to warfare for almost a century now. The same holds true in this case. 

The coach of the JAgs should fly to Bangkok and get a sex change. He is a huge box.

The black hole takes a dump on the the lowly Jags. They are afraid or unwilling to do the things it takes to win. Like throw the ball.

Mortgaging the house and putting it on Oakland at -4.

The Faiders are too unpredictable, but i love the point mellowman makes in saying they wanna play ball all of a sudden.(appreciate the humor too). At least somebody else has a personality on this site. Its always tough when an east coast team plays out west. Although Jax is comming off a bye. Small play here on the Al Davis's

Thanks for the kind words.  I forgot about the east to west coast circadian rythm thing. This means at kickoff time the east coasters are getting into sleep mode as it is 7:25 their time.  This definately has an effect. This plus home field advantage is worth 6 or more points alone.  
Jones Drew aint a happy camper, and now they come out saying Gabbert should run it more. Let's face it these guys are just killing time in JAX.

 Taking my bias against this Jaguars "organization" out of it - the one decent thing the Raidahz can do is stop the run. Last week they held "Burner" Turner to just 33 yards on 11 carries, and damn near won the game in Atlanta!!!

You take out MJD, and this team is on the college level of ability - Div. AA college at that.

  Quad, I see you and Oahuboy leaning a bit too much on the Raiders chances. My God ,both of these teams are "rock bottom" in the NFL right now. I see it as the Raiders by no more than a FG, perhaps in OT. Am agreeing with Canada Cup on this tilt.

MJD reminds me of a midget turner also.  Once they shut down the run Gabbert is going to pass and lead the Jags to victory or even keep it close??  Not!  

 I see this being  27 to 9  Raiders.

I think neither of these teams are very good. Yes the Raiders did well in a LOSS last week but a loss is a loss & in their game before that they got the hell beat out of them. I think this is going to be a field goal game & the edge will go to the home team because of the travel. Carson Palmer is very good at keeping both teams in the game

That was freaking hilarious.  The Jags are probably close to the point where they are thinking about next years draft and drafting a real franchise quarterback.  I just don't see Blaine Gabbert getting the job done on the road.  The jags did have a bye week to stew in their own misery, so who knows??  Maybe they'll cover.  

One interesting point I would like to make is MJD grew up a few miles from Oakland and this will be his first NFL game playing at the Coliseum (he was actually a huge raiders fan and was pissed they didn't draft him).  I look for him to be fresh off the bye and running really hard to impress his family, friends, and high school football coach who will all be in attendance Sunday.

That being said, I don't trust either of these teams enough to take a side.  I think McFadden and MJD will both have big days.

Vue, when you and I seriously disagree on a game, I never go big, if at all on placing actual money on that wager - - and it's been working out for me so far...........

BUT... Yeah, the Raidahz suck, but as far as I'm concerned the Jags are the league's whipping post. Raiders fans being Raiders fans, and I live out here - alcohol ingsted, the "Black Hole", c'mon man, The Jags have no chance........

It doesn't matter if the Raiders are 1-10 - - If it's a home game, it's being yelled at.........

1500 Architects and Engineers are clamoring for a real
  investigation of the event. They say its impossible for those buildings to fall in their own footprint due to Jets impacting them. 
They are the experts. 3 buildings fell that day and one wasnt even impacted by a Jet. Google building 7. Flt 93 was meant for building 7 and never arrived. So I surmise that they had to blow it anyways because somebody would have found the charges and the gig would have been up. It takes weeks to prep a demolition and weeks to unprep one. The motive was to boost oil prices by creating conflict in the middle east and gain control over the oil producing region of the middle east. The PRes an oilman benefitted directly as did the former CEO of Haliburton Dick Cheny. Democracy is an illusion in 
America what we have is a duopoly and the illusion of choice.

Nice tidbit on MJD I was unaware of. I just have a feeling of conviction on this game with Oakland. I decided to only bet games that I have a strong feeling about. Based on reason and an inner gut feeling. You mentioned your inner mafioso on a previous thread. Sometimes the inner mafioso knows whats up. I believe it is the subconscience mind talking to you. It picks up everything, Things the conscious mind doesnt. So unless both of my minds are in accordance I wont be betting a game.

Leaning Raiders here for many of the reasons listed above: seem to be playing w/ newfound motivation the past couple weeks, almost took down matty ice in the dome, cant do much else but the defense can stop the run (MJD), playing @ the black hole, carson palmer/DMC poised for big days.
