I want to help people out because it's tough to do this all by yourself.  The play is Colts -2.5.  They don't turn it over, they don't commit many penalties and they're playing their best football right now (post Wayne injury, that is).  The Chiefs, meanwhile, have been going in the opposite direction (see Colts at Chiefs last week).  So enjoy your profits on my Colts.  You can thank me later

Chiefs couldn't get it done 2 weeks ago in Arrowhead. What makes you think they can at Lucas Oil?

Best way to bet the Wildcard round is to look for the teams that don't really belong in the playoffs, and bet against them!  The best way to see who doesn't belong, is to look at (a) how many games they played against playoff opponents and (b) how they fared in those games.  

This game features a team that does not belong in the playoffs!  Bet against them!

There are two other games in the Wildcard round that feature teams that do not belong in the playoffs, based on these two criteria... bet against these 3 teams in the Wildcard round, and don't waste your time with anything else, and you can pretty much bank on a profit!

I like the Colts also.  I think they have a chance to be playing in the Super Bowl and they may be playing Cincinnati in the AFC Championship to get there!!

(I know I picked San Diego against Cincinnati in the Wild Card on 1/5 but that's with the points, not an outright win.) 

I will be officially picking each game prior to the game but it's just a thought.............we'll see!

What makes you think the chiefs even cared about that game... they knew they were locked into the 5 seed  and that a rematch with the colts was inevitable.  Basing anything on that game is folly.

Lean KC 1st half... luck scares me, Andy Reid gameplans well, but sucks in game.  Colts have started slow a ton this year.  May look to play Colts in game if they are down early.

Wrong....... Both Denver & KC were both 11-3 at that time with 2 games to play - division was still up in the air...... That's why all the starters played the whole game, including Jamaal Charles who's been playing on a tender knee since like October.......

Maybe next time put down the crack pipe there, Tyrone Biggums - and do a little homework......

That's a great tool to use and easily exposes the pretenders. Not only this but KC has completely collapsed down the stretch (2-4, I won't count last Sundays lay down). 

Their defense, after playing the cupcake early schedule, was shredded numerous times. Their PA was 27.8 vs 12 or so over the first 9 games. (only 1 playoff team among the first 9, which was Philly still trying to work the kinks out of the new system). 

Indy finished strong and already beat the Chiefs on the road - easily I might add. Held them to their lowest point total of the year. 

Luck over Smith anyday.

1st of you guys KC was not healthy when they played in arrowhead and some players  was out but I'll wait until all you so called wise guys push the line up to that 3 or 3.5 range and then pull the trigger.

This game, like the Saints/Eagles game, is not what IT appears at first glance. Both the Chiefs and Eagles are a regular season fraud.....

Think of the QB matchup first of all. Think about defenses second of all and then MOST IMPORTANTLY......look who each beat as a quality win:

Saints=Zona, SF, Carolina......there is a Superbowl winner in there possibly

Eagles=Zona and GB (no Rodgers).....NO Superbowl winners!

KC= Eagles.......NO Superbowl winner!

COLTS= SF, Seattle, Denver, KC (beat all by 6+ pts!!!)....3 of 4 strong faves for Superbowl!!!!!!!!

Enough said.......

Been fading the Colts most of the year......but funny right now.....I see the same with the Chiefs. So logic says, start going with the team that should win, has won, has beaten three serious Superbowl contenders by 6pts, 14pts and 20pts (Denver, Seattle, SF)

You got alot of nerve questioning the Colts to be faded given the circumstances but then again, I follow what you say in some posts and you mostly 'reach or throw darts' on dogs.......

No, I'm from Indy-followed them closely this year and, even though you should never bet with emotion, the last 3 weeks have given us hope.  After the Wayne injury and the beat downs we took from Cincy and St. Louis, we looked a little shaky.  But they seem to have adapted from that period and some unlikely Joes have stepped up-like Griff Whalen, for instance.  Add in the value of having a very good quarterback, being at home, and I think the Colts are the way to go.
