Expect the Pats to try and put the game away by halftime....
The Chiefs have 13 rookies and 6 waiver pick-ups on their 53 man roster....O-line - in addition to a waiver pick-up let go by the Jets late last season, they are starting rookie Brandon Albert at left tackle (vs all pro Seymour) - Albert missed all of pre-season just starting practice Monday this week (and he played guard in college). The Chiefs are starting 3rd and 5th round DB rookies in their nickel package vs. Brady, Welker and company. The Chiefs have little pass rush and I am guessing the Bellicek might have figured out a way to stop KC's one dimensional offense ?
I am a Chiefs fan, and look for them to be worse than the Dolphins last season while they rebuild from basically scratch and Larry Johnson.
Pats 48 Chiefs 10
That's a helluva first post on Covers. I've been a diehard Chiefs fan since I could walk and I agree 1000% with everything he said.
The Chiefs currently have 7 legitmate NFL starters IMO. LJ, Waters, Bowe, and Gonzalez on offense and Dorsey, Boone, and Derrick Johnson on D. Everyone else is strictly potential (Albert, Flowers, etc.) Hell, even Dorsey. Or too old (Edwards, Surtain, etc.) They are not going to be able to stop anyone this season or score any points. The season has 2-14 written all over it. While NE is loaded at basically every position and will be as hungry as ever. I just can't see any way this game will be close.

Good points. I expect the Pats to go back to fundamental Pats football which means they are a scary elite professional team, against this chiefs team, that hurts. NE pounds em not even doing what they did last year. It's a statement game for every club. I'm sure the Pats will be happy to put up a score worth talking about.

i must say... i disregard about 95% of all trends, because they are meaningless and useless... misleading, if anything...
but that is one impressive trend right there...
