My Dolphins winning streak and playoff hopes might just end in this one. We do have the players that have played in terrible cold weather but not sure how it will effect the the ones that don't.
Herm Edwards is fighting for his job and beating the Fins might just give him the edge in keeping it.
Defensively the Dolphins have held their own but the Dolphins have struggled on offense. It seems as though the offensive game plan for the Dolphins is to take the lead early and then sit on the ball and let the other team catch up to cover the spread.
FYI the Dolphins are a better 1st half team then they are at covering the final. Against the 49ers the Dolphins scored 0 points in the 3rd and 4th qtr. I think the week before that the Dolphins scored 3 points total in the 3rd & 4th qtr.
Anyway just being a fan.........

Chiefs win outright at home. Dolphins have skated by the last 2 weeks and one of this crap teams are gonna catch up to them. KC will cover the 4 at home and the JETS are going to the playoffs.
CHIEFS!

I'll take the Chiefs at home, in the cold, playing against a warm-climate team in this one.

First off - with players being traded at the drop of a hat these days, the notion of "warm" and "cold" climate teams is ridiculous. For example - how many years was Pennington in New York? Would you consider the Jets a "warm" climate team? And on that note, how did "warm" climate San Diego fare here last week, huh?
Secondly - normally Arrowhead is a loud, tough place for any visiting team to play in - but did you see how empty the stands were last week against "warm" climate San Diego??? And what a letdown that game was!!!!!! - HA!!!
And I wouldn't consider holding 2 decent teams like Buffalo and the Niners to a combined 4 field goals - "just skating by"
The Dolphins are in a 3 way fight for the division, while the Chiefs are looking forward to a nice long vacation. If you think the Chiefs win this one, then I want some of whatever you're smokin'.....

For us Dolphin fans we know how much the cold weather games hurt us in December but like I stated earlier the BIGGEST concern for the Dolphins lately is how are we going to start scoring in the 3rd & 4th qtr of games again

If they don't lose this week, they'll lose to the JETS at home. Fins are done.

Your from Mass. you are obviously persuaded with you heart here.
Yeah, I'm from Mass and going with my heart, but I'm actually original from NY and a JETS fan... So that's where my heart is....
Come on though, most of the people posting on this thread are clearly Dolphins fans and have the same kind of bias towards their team.
In all honesty it comes down to the Jets/Seahawks game. I think the Pats have a tough match up this weekend and if the Jets beat the Seahawks they should atleast have a good shot at a Wildcard bearth.

Hey B.D. - nice to see your on my side for this game - at least I won't have a bunch of "haters" in here talkin' smack like they did in the Colts / Jags thread. Unlike all of those punks, you seem like a nice stand-up guy. On that note, next week, for the final official 2008 season games, I'm only gonna bet games that both you & I agree on - I figure why not combine forces? We're all in here to win money, right? Anyways - GO FINS!!!!!!!!

It's all good bro It's just the bond I have with my longtime covers friends on here it's pretty much automatic that if someone gets on either one of us we all know we got each others back. I can tell you none of the members on my friends list are even close to being punks, but I can't speak for the ones that aren't on my list
My longtime Covers friends on here including my Maui covers brothers know that at the end of every football season win or lose I donate a portion of my bankroll to all kinds of charities locally & around the world. So the donation of toys for the kids wasn't something new but it was the first time we have donated to that shelter. Not trying to be known as a " stand-up guy " I'm just an ordinary " Joe " trying to help the ones who really need it.
Anyway back to this game...
FYI I'm a Dolphin fan so of course I'm cheering for them to pull out a victory. As far as being on the same side on this one I honestly feel that they might not cover the final as stated earlier. If I were wagering on this one I would invest in the Dolphins in the 1st half only and would stay away from the final.
It's getting even colder for my Dolphins for this game. We have won in the snow before in the years past and have the weapons on both sides of the ball that have a lot of cold weather game experience but still makes me I'm glad our rookie kicker is played in Montana and is used to kicking in the cold or snowy weather.
The key factor for this game IMO is if my homeboy from Hawaii Davone Bess can catch them cold footballs thrown his way. He has currently taken over the spot at WR that we had Greg Camirillo in who is currently injured. Bess has filled the spot quite well and has great hands but it will be interesting to see how he can handle the cold in this one.
Good luck the rest of the season

For 8 games now, they have not been able to hold on to leads, enabling opposing teams to make a comeback. CHIEFS have been the 2nd to worst 3rd QTR team in scoring 30pts, CINCY is the worst, scoring 20pts in Q3.
But this will be a significant game for KC, the big news of Carl Peterson getting the axed would motivate the players to win their last and final home game.
KC 31-17 Final Score

CHIEFS will take a huge 21-3 halftime lead.

I just dont know, u would think the Pins would be all fired up to win but who knows, fired up is not the way they have been playing ? Under does look good here.

Seems like the Chiefs whole organization is in disarray.Gotta think the Fins are more squared away right now. The Chiefs may have packed it in.BOL to all

Last KC home game, severe weather, warm weather team off travel, Al Johnson is relatively new center snapping to Pennington and RBs in wildcat, spoiler role = KC cover.
