I'm sorry but for some reason I see the FINS rolling over KC in this one. Fins haven't been playing bad, they've done everything they've had to in order to stay in the playoff hunt. That SF team they played last week, look at the wins and losses since Singletary took over. I honestly don't c KC putting up over 10 in this one. And when will ppl realize these are grown men that get paid to PLAY FOOTBALL, a little bit of cold weather doesn't stop teams from doing what they have to do.
MIA -3.5
24-10

Game time temp, 7 degrees, wind chill -12. Don't tell me weather doesn't mean a thing. Cold is cold. Dolphins win because they are the better team. KC is a bad football team. Miami is 4-2 aganist the spread on the road. Miami rolls big.

I was at the KC game last week - the temps before game time were 60 degrees.....at the end of the game they were 20 wind chill zero ...it was the Chiefs without a valid running game and Thigpen playing from the pistol formation who were affected by the cold (3 first downs the 2nd half, with two coming on the last drive for a FG attempt)
Sitting behind the Chiefs bench - the way the coaching staff let them down with coverage and playcalling decisions - the players reacted in a way that made me think the agony of that defeat was the last nail in the coffin of a horrific season. They had treated the divisional game vs SD as a quasi playoff game in their preparations to get "ready for next year"...in other words the Chiefs players had pushed "all-in" emotionally for the SD game.
2 other points:
1. I bought my ticket last week for $5 and joined 35,000 people at the game in the first half - 10,000 people left in the stadium for the 4th quarter - I think there will be less than 15,000 people there at kickoff due to fan apathy and anger, and the dangerous wind chills
Many of those will be either Dolphin fans or angry Chief fans
2. The Dolphins simply do not beat themselves - thus it will be up to a team that has lost 21 of their last 23 games to beat them
Motivated well coached Dolphins should win as they please

Take the under.. weather is a factor today in KC. plus look at Miami's last couple of game. not a whole lot of offense and the D is great. I really think under is an easy play here.. i would be shocked if it even reached 30 pts. i predict something like Miami 17-9

Miami has something to play for...This will be a close game;however, Miami should pull this one out. Kansas City always finds a way to loose and at most of the time the look atrocious. The Chiefs are used to playing in front of a packed stadium, may get about 25,000 fans at this one
Bought a half a point.... Miami minus 3

Hey B.D. - nice to see your on my side for this game - at least I won't have a bunch of "haters" in here talkin' smack like they did in the Colts / Jags thread. Unlike all of those punks, you seem like a nice stand-up guy. On that note, next week, for the final official 2008 season games, I'm only gonna bet games that both you & I agree on - I figure why not combine forces? We're all in here to win money, right? Anyways - GO FINS!!!!!!!!
A little PUNK call others punks? That's funny! Have yet to see you win a game.
