the reason I say under is because both teams will run the ball frequently and try to control the clock... especially with their inexperience at qb....

the JETS are ranked number 1 in the NFL in rushing with 184.9 ypg..... the DOLPHINS are ranked number 2 in the NFL in rushing with 170.3..... 13

the JETS are ranked 29th in the NFL in passing, the Dolphins are ranked 26th

the JETS have attempted to run 255 times, most in the NFL, DOLPHINS have attempted to run 213 times....

***stats are somewhat scewed because the JETS have not had a bye week yet....

but I believe they still point to a low-scoring-field postion- run the clock kinda game.....


I am a JETS fan keep that in mind while reading my posts...

sanchez had no pressure on him in the oakland game. there will be alot of pressure on him in this game. sanchez + throwing under pressure= 5 interceptions

dolphins, pretty easy pick. With a very hard list of games. dolphins ravens bills may be the three best plays.

I remember the Jets not having that much trouble passing the ball in the first game- their issue was stopping the wildcat. It will depend on the weather and if Sanchez can adjust to the Meadowlands in NOV. The other issue is if the Jets can stop that run- I agree with BreakaBookie and think that they can.

With DT Jenkins out this game (huge loss I'm a huge panther fan and know what missing Jenkins can do) and the fact that Miami has been so effective running the ball.  NYJ may overcommit to stopping the run this time around. 

I wouldn't be shocked if Henne has a great game and is the talk of the media next week.

jenkins out for jets, that spells trouble for jets run D, ellis questionable doesnt help either.... dolphins took first meeting in miami, and covered by a point... that game will go along way to determining the winner and players making plays here.... jets will have a hard time stopping run, henne wont have to use that big-ass head of his and make any plays, dirty sanchez gets bottled up and makes a few bad plays as Tjones is rendered ineffective, this is a really close game, take the points.... phins 20 - jets 19

Miami will be without our starting corner Will Allen for the rest of the season so that puts 2 rookie corners to defend Sanchez and company. Will Allen hasn't showed much this season but he did have experience. Rex Ryan will probably try to test the young DB's early.

Tough game to call...are my Dolphins going to have a Saints hangover? they better not

Jets had one of the best defense before they faced Dolphins and their wildcat offense.  They tasted it, analyzed it, and solved it.  I see Jets winning at home and stopping the wildcat.  Dolphins are looking a lot better with Henne as QB though.  But I just see Sanchez stepping up and he already experienced a bad game.  I like the Under in this game.  Both teams will rely on their running game to open up their pass game.

Actually I'm confused between the Under and Over.  I like the Under because I see both teams running a lot but as Henne starting, the Dolphins have been going Over.  He has filled in the QB shoes that they wanted.  I'll stay away from the Over/Under and just take the Jets if you want to but I'm staying away in general lol

This will be Henne's first away game so will he screw up or will he keep his composure and just do what he must do to win.
