I want to take Miami -5.5 as my top contest play.  I really don't see why I shouldn't.  New York looked terrible and that travel in week 12 had to be chaotic.  I will definitely be betting them.

Why do I have this gut felling that the Jets after getting totally embarassed by the Bills last game,are going to come out in front of their home fans(Of those who show up),and will play the game of their lives?Not saying that they will win outright,but will keep it close
and cover the spread.
I mean these guys are suppose to be Pros,but from what I have seen
of this team,they should be taken out of the league and replaced by a CFL team.
I'm sure they would be more competitive..
I guess I'm just looking the the odds are in their favor to cover a freakin game.

I to have this gut feeling...that the Jets will shine bright you have a quarter back with everything to prove and good ole Harvin...who just loves the spot lite....if I were those two I would have found an outdoor field somewhere and have been practicing routes till they coulden't stand anymore....Miami has the D....so the Jets have to come up with a great first half......this is a Geno Smith to Harvin night.....or they just get a good ole az whooping..!! Should be a good game...!! Where is the pop corn??

This game could surprise. Jets would love to play spoiler. Geno needs to show he learned something on the bench and he deserves another chance over RG3 next year. Harvin will play a critical role in Genos progress. That said I can see the Jets putting up 21 to 28 on the board. Now can the Fins keep up and avoid the upset. Given the Pats loss a win here would mean a lot. My pick here is the Over but will try to catch it at a bargain in game at 38 or less

I don't post very much on covers but when I see everyone on the wrong side I will post. If you look at my previous posts I went 3-0 on thanksgiving, I called the biggest upset of the year with Western KY. Over Marshall. Beware Miami backers, several reasons to take the jets or skip the game completely.
1st The jets are a bad matchup for the Dolphins, next the Monday night road favorite is 3-1 this year. This means the dog is due at home and it usually happens when the public can't stomach taking that dog. Last, the jets look so bad because they have changed player positions often and just haven't been able to get it together. Don't be surprised if they look great tonight and win outright. The lost at home in their only other Monday night game this year at home vs. The ravens.My play is 500 on jets +7 and 200 on the moneyline. Last thing, this is the NFL, how many times do you see the team that looks like the bad news bears a week ago look like champs next week. On top of everything is the fact that Ryan is in the hot seat again. His players always respond. Good luck, everything points to a jet victory and I hate the jets. Lol.

Geno might be improved from being benched,but Miami's been playing extremely hard and also got something to prove.Miami is playing to get into the playoffs and after a loss,I promise they will be focused.Tanneyhill has greatly improved and the defense is very good.I have no doubt that the Jets will be playing for Rex's,but lets face it,they have been playing for Coach Ryan's job  the last few games with no positive results with the exception of the Steelers.Come on man!!Pittsburg is a inconsistant bunch of money burners.I still think they don't know who they are yet,so that win is a wash.This is a divisional game that is HUGE for Miami,and I will put my money on the better team with a decent point spread,but I will wait to I get the best number.To me the best number would be anything under 6.5,because I feel the score will be 23-10 or 20-10, the boys from Florida.

No offense my man,but you are kidding about the Jets  putting up 21 or 28 points?? The Jets could'nt put 28 points up ,if they started every play on Miami twenty yard line.Miami can score on offense much better than they have earlier this year,because now they have found a decent running game to keep teams honest.They also have an opportunist defense  thats soild.The better team by far are the Dolphins, but because this is a divisional contest and on the road anything can happen,but Miami is the better team and they will win this game by ten points.Like I said earlier,no offense,because I respect your opinion,just givng you some honest facts.The under would be a better play here.

Every time I get one of my weird "gut feelings", I come in here expecting to be talked out of it. And every time I kind of get rejuvenated in my pick. Dolphins always seem to beat the teams they shouldn't, and then lose or come close to losing the games they should steamroll.

Pittsburgh at home, a bye week, and then Buffalo. Jets really haven't had to travel much in the past month.

Jets "D" is pretty solid, and Tannehill can become a little gunslingy happy feety if he's pressured. And I'm sure Rex & Company will be bringing the house tonight...

If you guys really think geno is gonna pull off an upset tonight, DON'T hold your breaths. The jets suck whether you start geno or Vick. They need some serious team rebuilding once Rex is gone. Granted they had a Pitt upset and a close game with the patriots, but those were 2 miraculous incidents. They will lose the game today by 8-10 points. Miami had a tight game with Broncos last week on the road. Tannehill will be more than ready to serve up a hot steaming bowl of behind whooping for the banged up jets. 5 units Miami spread

Phins period. The defense is tough and they put up a good showing on the road in Denver. Which is a much tougher environment right now.

the problem with most you guys is that you overthink your bets. Who is the better team? Miami. Who has the better defense? Miami. Who has the worst starting QB in the league? The Jets. Geno will throw 3+ picks and Rex will still keep him in the game.

The JETS are a bad team and can't wait till the season ends. They were terrible last week against the BILLS.

But this is the NFL, and any team can win the following week. How did the JETS beat the STEELERS?? 

How did the BENGALS beat the SAINTS after Dalton looked so bad against the Cleveland BROWNS??

How did the Raiders beat the CHIEFS and then get blown away yesterday by the RAMS??

I can see the JETS playing the game of there lives and covering the +7 on MNF.

They threw Geno Smith in tonight and for the remainder of the season to see if they should keep him. You don't think he knows that. His going to be motivated and the team will want to put up a good show after last weeks poor showing.

Morgan. I agree that Miami is a much better team than the Jets. My take on this though is the Jets can surprise here. Jets will be playing for pride and not playoffs so they should come in loose and not afraid to take chances. While the Fins come in fighting for a spot in the playoffs. We also will see Geno and Harvin play together for the first time and as I hear it from a source I have that has seen them practice together they gel really well together. We shall see in a few hours. I am not putting anything on this till I see at least a quarter play out. An interesting stat to consider is the Fins avg 2nd half points is 15.8 while the Jets are 5.8 so watch the Fins in 2nd half. Also I think the Jets D will be affected drastically by the absence of Wilkerson and Taneyhill will have a lot of time to throw .
