If your selling something , you polish it up and ask for a certain price. Hence the buff jobs on Geno Smith and RG 3 . that is the only reason these two are given a football to control. Next year will find them on a different team ,but right now and tonite Smith is on display for better or worse . Miami still has a dog in the hunt and their guns are loaded for the lowly Jets . Don't know about the over/under but I'll take the Fish and the chalk for a win.

Jets ended the dolphins season last year, Miami has a lot more to play for this season considering the fact the locker room is in better shape this season I don't see them losing although the jets will play hard I doubt Rex will have the effect he had on his team week

Miami is a way better team...but I just have the darnedest feeling that the Jets pull the surprise tonight at home. I picture a low-scoring game, with the Jets D playing tough and putting up enough points to score the upset.

Going with my gut.

Jets +250 ML.

Im a Jets fan. Yes, it's agonizing to admit.

I am actually rooting for the dolphins so we can get a better draft pick than oakland and draft a qb that can actually throw a football like mariota or the headcase winiston. I really don't know why more teams don't intentionally bomb the 2nd half of the season when playoffs are impossible Ala indy colts andrew luck 15 year franchise star.... but I digress...

So im not betting, but I can drop some expertise on you as I know this rivalry well.

8 reasons why this is a dangerous bet tonight.

1) div road favorite laying 7.... always a very risky play plus these games are usually close. As awful as the jets are, is Miami really an elite team?

2 ) it's cold and rainy. Actually it's not that bad but it's colder than it is in Miami. And that ball can be slippery.

3) Jets are inducting wayne chrebet into the ring of honor. If there is a game the jets show up all year it's probably this game.

4)Geno had his highest passer rating of his career in relief of Vick last week. Yes, that's true as crazy as it sounds.

5) Miami lost to the Jets last year when all was lost on the season playing spoiler.... sound familiar?

6) this is Monday night football and usually the ball bounces strangely. Primetime games ballers ball and Harvin is still trying out for next year for other teams. Kind of a contract year motivation angle. Primetime games spark motivation.

7) Jets have actually played decent at hime. Beat Pitt, hung with Denver, Chicago, Detroit. Well Detroit is a bad example, especially with no megatron. Their last homegame they beat pitt. Before that they were slaughtered by buffalo.

8) Jets have 5th ranked rushing offense. Crazy I know but that could mean an "under" type game

Oh, and the public is on the dolphins at an unprecedented rate. So if you think vegas is giving away free money and will lose over 80% then by all means take Miami.... but something tells me it's not as easy as "jets git blown out by buffalo last week so a Miami cover it is!"..... this line skyrocketed.... I see it at 7 and could have swore I saw it at 4.5 last week.

Again, not playing tonight, just trying to give some perspective.

Usually these games go over but that's just from memory.
