Hmmm, it seems strange to me that the closest the Lions have come to winning any games this year have been the 2 they played against the Vikes. If the Lions weren't so absolutely F'n horrible, the Vikes could be 6-7 right now, not 8-5.
The Cards are a super high powered offense with at least a "better than average" defense - and now - all they have to do is focus on shutting down "All Day". So knowing this, how many points do you think they can rack up off of Tarvaris' continual "3-and-outs" this Sunday? 40? 50? 60? Who knows? The fact that the line is only 3 points is an early Christmas present for me!
And no wiseguy, I didn't watch the game. I was flipping back and forth between the Giants / Eagles and the Bears / Jaguars games, since I stayed home that day & these were the 2 that were offered on Fox & CBS. But I watched all of the highlights & post game stuff and the NFL network, and the internet sites like everybody else in here (that's how I saw Jared Allen take that cheap shot to his knee, and now he's "doubtful" for this week's game - WOW!!! How could I have seen that if I didn't "watch the game"!!!!!).
Also, in seeing that your location is Mississippi, I'm thinking that you didn't watch the game either - unless you have the NFL package - which if you do, I'm sure you were probably watching the Saints / Falcons, since that was the best game going on during that time period.....
So, stick that on your Barbecue & grill it!!!!!!!!!
Yep, even people in Mississippi can get the NFL package! We put it next to that there fancy new-fangled indoor plumbin' that all them kids is talkin' about! *hock, spit*
Stereotype much?
So, basically, you're running your mouth about something you don't know anything about. Awesome. Honestly, it doesn't matter if the Vikings "only" beat the Lions by 2 points or 4 points or whatever. You know what the best part of "winning ugly" is? The fact that you still win, that's what! This isn't the BCS. . .there's no need to impress anybody.
The fact of the matter is that you told everyone about how awful Jackson was after Frerotte went down last Sunday, and you were completely, totally, and thoroughly incorrect. It's okay. . .everybody's completely wrong sometimes. It's even okay to admit it!
And, since you're obviously unaware of this, Arizona's Defensive Passer Rating is among the worst in the National Football League. They've also given up more TD passes than any team in the NFL. Another thing that you're apparently unaware of is that pretty much every defense that the Vikings have faced this season has "just had to focus on stopping Adrian Peterson." (Since Gus Frerotte has been our QB to this point and everything.) As you obviously haven't noticed, very few teams have actually done this. . .and there's no reason to think that Arizona's defense is capable of it.
Could Arizona win tomorrow? Sure, they could. Are they going to win by the kind of idiotic margin that you're predicting? Not likely.
