Will GB cover the spread tonight...flip a coin.  It really is a toss up when you study all the stats closely.

Here's what isn't a toss up...UNDER 50.5 

The Vikings have scored only once in the past 13 games over 50 points.  Once !!!

The key to the Vikings winning tonight is running and keeping GB off the field.  Listen to all the reports coming off the bye week and that's all the Viking coaches have been saying.  They have even stated that they want AP to get 30+ carries.....tick tick tick 

This is just too easy...gotta listen to what is being said and stats don't lie.

Greenbay is going to score. Minnesota can score, but not sure now much.. 0ver might be the play here.. And IF Minnesota is planning on running the ball, they better score! GB is definitely scoring..And yes, +13 points is a lot, but how many games this season that the spread has been that high. The new rules favor the offense!!

Being a Green Bay fan i could easily state a biased opinion on this game but unfortunatly i think it's going to be a close game.  The vikings are not going to try and control the clock because they will be trying to play catch up all night.  Green Bay will score, and that's a fact.  The only way they can control the clock is if they get a big lead, and that just isn't gonna happen.  Minnesota can score....they have some big play makers and can move the ball just fine, "now that McNabb is out".  This game will be a shootout!  No Doubt!    

34-27  Packers win but do not cover!

Yea that was me commenting on "Da Bears"..I never complain, I'm too old...I just don't see a need, it's kind of like, guys - spare us, we aren't 13 years old.  It was so gay on Sat Night Live and even more so now.

Lets keep cashing units guys, and end a huge week on a high note:

GB -13

I don;t give a rat's tail about back door covers, how many times the Pack were dd spreads and din;t cover, what the average points were the last 4 games, how many drunk blondes are i the first ten rows, it means nothing.  What matters tonight is Lambeau field, a very uncomfortable environment for a kid making his 3rd - yes 3rd - career start, against a defense that may be good enough to get to a Super Bowl, coming off a bye.  Giving up late TD's - on the road - in nice temperatures - to a Pro Bowl-caliber (usually) guy like Rivers is one thing.  But hoping for a back door cover tonight at Lambeau with Ponder?  I see no logic behind that.  even playing with thousands of house money this week I wouldn't make that play.

Meant to add - someone above mentioned old San Diego coach "Don Coreal"...

His name was Don Coryell, he was a great offensive mind, Joe Gibbs was an assistant under him at SD when the 'Skins hired him for the '81 season.  Before the Chargers teams with Fouts, Joiner, Winslow, Jefferson, etc., he coached some very good St. Louis Cardinal teams in the mid-'70's, when good ol' Dierdorf was an All-Pro on a great O-Line with Conrad Dobler and Tom Banks, Jim Hart at QB, Terry Metcalf at RB, Mel Gray at WR...just thought if we're gonna talk coaches, might as well get it right.

Ponder start on that Sunday when the GB came to the dome and played. I watched that game and laid big on GB, Rookie QB, bet with confident, LOL (like the stupids Ravens, rob us twice against 2 pissie team) . GB did not cover and almost lost the game, Ponder and Viks was marching down the field in the last possesion of the game, and if they would have score, GB would lost by 1.

I dont think GB want to be in the nails biting situation here and at home. They will come out swinging, bet like a pro. Go with BD Ov first half. It's a Div game too. I do see GB cover this at home.

i like the vikings alot... peterson and 100% healthy harvin on offense with jared allen and a stout run defense proves too much for GB.  27-23....................... Green Bay stays unbeaten but doesn't cover.
