The line being offered AT THIS TIME has dropped and the best deal that 5dimes has is New England-7(+105).

Personally I think the Lions are very much improved BUT not that improved. The Patriots SHOULD kill the Lions. The thing is how motivated are the Pats gonna be just 4 Days after beating their most recent biggest rival in the NFL, the Colts and Peyton Manning...???

Still, I have to go with the Pats no matter what and feel that they will cover the -7(+105) rather than taking the normal line of Pats-6(-110).

My guesstimate is Patriots-31 Detroit-17.

Opening line was 6, now up to 7.  Hilton lines is the only line in town that matters.

Couple of red flags for me here, first off - how in the world can this line be less than a touchdown? Secondly, currently 82% of the betting public is on the Pats? 82%??? Smells fishy to me - I'm sure the line will go up, and I'm taking the Lions plus at least 7.5, if not more by Thanksgiving - whatever it is. Do we have a Turkey Day miracle in the making, or just a Turkey? We shall see.

Every thanksgiving I'm thankful for the suckers I mean the sharps out there. Once again the so called sharps are touting the Detroit Lions and every year they get blown out.

This is way to easy, give me

Game Pats -6.5 large
2nd half Pats Whatever the number is larger
Money line Pats -300 Biggest bet of the week

I dont care if the Lions are up a touchdown at halftime, the Pats are guaranteed to blow them out. After reading this, I'm sure most of this forum will be loading up on the Lions and next Monday I will be picking up a delivery with all their cash.

I could never bet against the Lions, especially on Thanksgiving!
But I can't see taking them at only +7. 
They deserve more of a cushion considering they now will most likely have to play without Best (well, he has essentially been a non factor for a while).

I will be in the book on the morning of this game looking for prop wagers.

As you can see, they have been crap on turkey day the last 6 years in a row.  You are taking the Lions against one of the best teams in the NFL?  They have no starting QB against the best QB in the NFL?  Against the best coach in the NFL?  On a short week, where if they win it they will have a mini-bye week!!  I will take my chances and lay the points.  Lions are tough because they took the Jets into OT.  Same day the Pats looked like crap against Cleveland.  But now on national tv,  I think Pats will come to play.

A whooping 87% is on New England right now and what happens... The line goes from 7 to 6.5.

Something isn't right here.

Yes, this burned me last week when I took St. Louis over Atlanta as the line didn't budge. But on a short week, I feel confident playing a 7-3 ATS Detroit here.

pats is either number 1 or 2 in the NFL right now. -6.5 against detroit seem too easy. i think betting halftime is the smart play here

After they win by 3 they will still be the either #1 or #2 team, line is going to stick most likely at 7, I would be suprised to see it go over that. Always leary about laying that number, anytime you got a fav laying 7 chances are they do not cover. The public is all over this game, 75% of the betting public is wrong 100% of the time. Do the math.   Mega three team parlay, GOD HATES A COWARD!   Detroit, Dallas and the J-E-T-S.

Does seem to easy...trap game?  Regardless I'd be more comfortable laying 6.5 with the Patsies than getting 6.5 with the Lions.  When all else fails take the over

Wouldn't be surprised if they lose 27-21 to screw me.
I wish the lions were as good SU as they are against the spread.
