This will be a tought matchup for sure.  Early on I was thinking Jets, but no way I am taking them even with points.   Pats looked like they were still in exhibition mode last week. 

Oh, and Belichick wanted to kiss Ryan's rings, but had a hard time finding them.

Another JETS fan here. I think we have a good shot to win this week, but I definitely won't have any action on this one. Jets D looked great last week. If they can pressure Brady, and if Sanchez protects the ball, then the Jets will win. The Pats have 0 run game and the D will be exposed again. Could go either way. I think these teams split this year, but I'm not sure who wins it this sunday. Go Jets! No play.

The last game these two played (11/08) the Jets won, never relinquishing the lead.

The game prior (9/08), the Pats won 19-10, scoring 4 FGs and only 1 TD.

The Patriots have won eight straight when visiting the Jets since a 20-19 loss Sept. 11, 2000, during Belichick's first season at the helm. That streak continued with a 19-10 win Sept. 14.

With the struggling Pats defense, and the tough Jets defense, I expect a very close game to the end! Brady with alot of pressure turns it over a couple more times! Heck the Bills picked him for 6! Short rest for Pats. More Info needed?  In the end another "Rookie Sensation" gets his chance to have a game winning drive added to his resume. Jets sneak by with a late score winning outright! Jets is the play!

i had the Texans last week & found out just how bad their D is... the Texans were so bad, they made the Jets look better than they really are... made it way too easy for "dirty-sanchez"... + "DS" had all day to stand in the pocket... dam, Houston must be really terrible on D!?  (and yes, the NFLchannel  broke down just how bad their D is).. there is a Texans corner who looked totally confused on how to cover & coverages  overall.... & after he blew the coverage on that 3rd down "easy td" pass... he came back on next Defensive series & got turned around again!... not sure if he's a rookie corner, but he definitely played like one, & that should continue... i aint bettn the texans for a while, based on that corner alone! hehe... the Texans are "dead to me"..lol.. & made Jets look "better"....
 
 the Jets are overrated & i'll take Moss/Pats to cover... plus i don't like the fact  Jets player calling out the Pats by saying he wants to  "embarass the Patriots"... that should be enough right there to cover the spread 
 
Jets are brought right back down to reality this week, at home!...  i hate the patriots/bilichik
 
i like the Patriots  to take over in 3rd Q...
 
actually, i'm bettin the UNDER (i think both will try to run more, to take pressure off QBs)...tic tic tic

Big Jets fan here...just want to remind you that MIAMI took the conference last year, not NE. The only difference: Tom Brady was out with an injury.

Is Tom Brady that good? Personally I believe he made a deal with Satan, likely for his eternal soul, so that he could be the NFL's best QB and get more super models than Leonardo. What a dick.

Can he withstand the Jets lighting fast Defense? Questionable.

Don't go against the odds. The Jets have lost 8 straight against the Pats at home. Period! Nothing changes. Especially with the Jets talking all that smack to just get attention. Belichick is going to run it in their ass.
 
Pats ML or Pats -3.5 it don't matter! Both are winners!

This is coming from a Pats fan...

The Pats D is not weak because of injuries, rather inexperience, retirements and trades - actually just one trade. Belichick was forced to move to a 4-3 D because the LB core stinks - Eric Alexander, Pierre Woods and Gary Guyton???
Buffalo utilized the screen pass to perfection due to the experienced LB's and DB's, like somebody said before, Jets will probably do the same using Washington. 

That being said, I still like the Pats to win by a TD.

This is not the same Patriots D of the past and they really seemeded to struggle against the screen pass against the Bills. Im willing to say Leon Washington and Thomas Jones are better then Freddy Jackson and the other Buffalo back.  Tom Brady looked off all last game to me, except for the final 2 minutes, and a lackluster Bills pass rush was able to get pressure. 

I loved this at 6 but am hesitant at 3.5.

Just having the worst 2 weeks of college football ever

Well this game is a BIG rival game and I feel will be too much for this young Sanchez...I'm looking for the Pats to take it to Sanchez and the Jets defense early...but I've been terrible lately so what do I know.....
