liking carolina here... i have been killed by them, usually playing against them in the past but i think i have them figured out here. They win when they look like a terrible play. We've seen what they CAN do on both sides of the ball, but they just took a dump last week... they're not going to be that bad here, and as much as i love breesy he still is the solid offense lacking a good d... i think they get stomped here, because they look like such a sexy play, and i just know it's going the other way. bounce back game for the panthers.... let down after a blowout for the saints...
CAR -3 (or less come game time)

carolina easy play here. NO struggles against physical teams (see MINN, WASH) and carolina falls in the same category. The panthers will be able to score at will against a suspect NO defense

I'm gonna wait and see...Because of the direction of the public money, and the implications of a possible tie breaker situation down the road due to New Orleans schedule versus the Panther schedule, I would have to take the home team in this game, especially coming off of the loss. Carolina plays like an AFC team, and they are healthy and mean. I think Mike Fox's crew will neutralize Reggie and limit the New Orleans deep game. I don't like the fact that this number sits squarely on a key number (3). I was kind of hoping it would be 2.5. Maybe with public donations it will be -2.5 by gametime. If it goes to -3.5 with all of the money on New Orleans, then that will also sharpen my decision to take the Panthers. Until then I'll just wait and see.

Got to like Car here. With all those big names on NO, why is the line -3 (opening at -4) after that terrible game st TB and a solid win by NO. NO on the road = and Car at home =
With all the money going on NO 63% currently, the line moved (I think due to the poor showing in TB) to -3. This line feels like a trap, to easy to take NO.
Car -3. GLTA

Yes sir rebound game highly possible should be lots of action on New Orleans,Carolina covers
This should be one hell of a game. Both teams will come to play- a game of big hits and big plays. If the weather is nice- a f*ck it as long as there isn't a hurricane this game should be a shootout. With the defenses coming to play I see a few turnovers turning into points! Initial strong lean on the over here.
As far as a side goes got to give the edge to CAR being at home.

early lean on saints. their D is better than it has been in the past and Brees is a great leader and is supremely confident this season. i think saints are constantly seeking respect

Who is Mike Fox??
This game just seems destined to be a 24-21 game. Brees has been on an insane pace throwing the ball this season, and when he can keep the ball in his own teams' hands, they have done well. However, going up against a solid defense may prove deadly, despite the fact that he will be getting Colston and Shockey back for this game, and Bush is healthy as well. I'm saying 330 with 2 TD's and 2 INT's for Brees in this one, and the turnovers will kill them. No official play here for me simply because of where the numbers sit. If anything, I would play the over simply because I see this getting into a shootout if anything.
Prediction: Panthers 28 Saints 23
