I like this logic , plus NE loss last week was due to non veteran guys being out there , NE Defense is still a mid pack D , otherwise they would have been held the bengles offense. Pats have gotten back Amandola , but he wasnt impressive last week. Gronk is supposed to play (maybe too soon ?) - but after 4 surgerys how effective and rusty will he be?

Brees' stats are so much better then Brady this year. Brees is a top 3 QB !  New O has so many ways to hit you with the WR core and Jimmy Graham cathes everything ! not to mention Sproles or Pierre Thomas can get ya. Sean Payton is back and it shows with a record of 0 losses. Throw in an improved Saints D and i think you got a win !

I agree the Pats are lucky to be 4-1. I'm just not sold on the Saints defense yet. They were one of the worst defenses in NFL history last year and aside from Atlanta, they haven't really been tested. The Bears moved the ball on them pretty well last week...they just made some silly mistakes that cost them (a fumble and a crucial offsides penalty). It's tough to win on the road in the NFL, especially in a back-to-back setting.

If the Saints lost last week I would probably stay away. I just think Sean Payton and his team will be perfectly happy going into the bye week at 5-1, especially with an easy bounce-back game vs Buffalo at the  Superdome in week 8.

NE has a better defense and very rarely lose at home, but yeah their offense is pathetic right now. Line should be Saints -3 imo, but I still have to pick my Patriots.. I'm a glutton for punishment....

It's hard to bet that NE will lose 2 in a row in a home game.I just don't think that they have enough offensive personnel to score with the saints.I like N.O.

Guys in the Pats locker room angry because Gronk is out again... Almost like they are admitting they need some help on offense.  Have NEVER heard comments like this on that team.  Saints for a small play

Pats have literally struggled in every game this seeson. This is not the same teem the lights up the scorebord like a pinball machine but, NO is that team right now.

I'm pretty amazed with myself for dropping both New Orleans and New York Jets from my picks and replacing with SF and the over on SF!  Saved from losing a lot of COWS!
