And as far as the Saints and their "playoff experience", yes it's pertinate, that being said, the last playoff game they played as NFL Champions, they got put on blast by Seattle, a .500  squad. Anything's possible........... on any given Saturday..................

Im actually from the bay area.. and candle stick park is going to be warm and sunny!! and grass turf cmon they are pros, they are built for this!! and BREEZ is on a streak, breaking records, He can not choke! YES niners has defense, but the offense side, fieldgoals WILL not win this game, no matter how much sf will pressure BREEZ he has to many options.  And for the niners YOU HAVE TO DEPEND ON AKERS NOT SMITH TO SCORE POINTS, THAT JUST MAKES NO SENSE.

For sf to win the game..I see s.f. managing the clock, trying to keep breez off the field as well as they can,  running the ball and short throws, but yet there horrible in the red zone, AKERS been there main person to put up points and sf defense will be in BREEZ face all day but N.O. has too much talented receivers that will burn there man to man coverage in the 2h!!.. N.O. WILL FEEL IT OUT 1H and BREEZ will adjust 2half..   Breez completion rate is 72% which means 3 out of 5 he connects to a receiver!
3 Field goals equal 1 td pretty much... ORLEANS BABY!!

Steve Young says Candlestick Field as Fast as he ever seen.
He did a phone interview on NFL 32 and said the field looks like the San Diego Chargers Field, dry and fast. Not typical for this time of year when they usually get a lot of rain and the field is muddy. Said this is a huge advantage for the Saints. Grounds keepers wanted to water it for an extra few hours but NFL overuled and said the surface did not need it.

The NFL is about TV Ratings an Money,you really think they want the 49er's playing the Packers next week? Will not happen,9er's may cover?But they will not win this game..

Since the Oct 30 loss to the Rams, the Saints are a perfect 9-0 SU and 9-0 ATS.  It is rare to see streaks like that in the NFL... 

SF defense and the grass field, outdoors, etc can slow down the NO offense but not entirely shut it down for 4 quarters.  Brees has too many weapons, cant stop them all...

Saints make it 10 straight SU and ATS!  Saints -3.5.

Geeez .... Some need to realize most teams usually loses 2 duds per season.

Call it letdown,injuries whatever...

When 2010 Saints won it all , they had lost to Carolina and barely beat the Rams.

So wtf if they lost to Rams this year !

This Saints team has way more offensive balance than team that won it all in 2010.

Saints are THE hottest team next to Gigantes .

Believe 2011 Saints are better than 2010 team with Too many weapons for Frisco to handle .

Frisco's D will likely keep it close till the end until Brees wins it  via td in closing minutes.

The doc says hes rockin these playoffs. Too easy to take the low number with the saints. SF a homedog, seriously. Wrong team favored. Sfran will win straight up. Sfran and und for the large!!!!!

Uh-Oh--Dr.you just knocked the pegs out from under me.I was confident you were going to take N.O. and the under then again I thought pittsburgh was going to play the Pats today--oh well. I agree with you on the under because of the grass field and outside venue and a tuff S.F. defense ,but I'll buy the hook and take the Saints.Good luck my friend ---now about those Giants......

The key to an SF cover and potential win is SF being able to keep the ball away from Brees. Ground game MUST perform. The SF offense MUST use clock.
If Brees gets the ball NO WILL score on most possessions.
That said..SF grinds one out here. Going to trust SF defense to get stops and of course SF ground game eating up clock.
 Weather not a factor. SUnny hi's in low 60's.Winds 5-10 mph.

Keys for San Fran:  Win the turnover game; Positive yardage on 1st down.  Keep penalties to a min.  Must play a complete game to win.

Keys for NO:  Stop the run; Force San Fran into obvious passing downs;  Allow Brees time to throw.

I like NO in this game; -3.5.  NO is decent against the run (12th), forcing SF to have throw, which is not their strength. 

This is SF first playoff game in several years, not to mention at home.  I see SF being overwhelmed with the hype and not playing their best game.  Really in this QB driven league, I just like Brees over Smith and I give the coaching advantage to NO (slight).

what you guy discussed here like before NO battle with Detroit. However, NO blow out at second half like they had done before to other games. let me put some of my idea down here:
1. NO had a momentum to win this game
2. Brees want to make his record highest
3. SF has good defense; beside, NO have a strong defense lines also ( we can see how Detroit get down by their defensive)
4. SF offensive line is too far away [weaker] to compare to NO offensive line.
there are only two team can stop NO:
Green bay is NO number 1 barrier for championship division
New England is NO number 2 barrier for supper bowl
finally, I have a very confidence for NO to win this battle with SF.

GO ALL IN FOR NO 500 BUCKES FOR GAME
PARLAY NO OVER + NE OVER 50 CENTS FOR 400 BUCKS
