i just dont see how anyone is picking the rams to score 24 points.. the Rams score 9.6 PPG.. why are you picking them to score 24? They just scored 17 vs the Lions.. and you think they're gonna score more against a much better defense that will turn them one dimensional? The Saints are giving up 21 PPG and they've played Philly, NYG, Atlanta, Miami.. and teams that can atleast put up some points.. you telling me the Rams have a comparable offense to these teams?
The Colts are extremely comparable to the Saints.. look what happened when they came into St. Louis.. yea.. 42-6.
I don't see how the Saints dont cover this. Maybe it takes them a quarter or 2 to get serious.. but by the 3rd quarter the rams should be one dimensional and they won't know how to figure out the Saints offense.
Saints 45, Rams 13.
If the saints can pound on Philly and the Giants by 3+ TDs.. why not the Rams on turf?

any thoughts on the Saints quarter or half play?
they have been starting out terrible and I believe this week against the Rams that gets fixed

Aints are over rated. Rams cover easily and don't be surprised if its a game come the 4th quarter. Saints are one of the most over rated teams of the decade.

Atlantasports is that why they beat the Falcons? what does that say about Matt Ryan and company? Your are an idiot. I have never even posted before but felt the need to because I have seen many of your post and your last one is just as stupid as the rest.

I cannot see any way the Rams can win this game or cover, none. Reminds me of week 7 when they played the Colts (who in their right mind would have taken the Rams in that one) and that one was not close.
All that being said nothing is for sure in sports and that is for sure.

i see what your saying.. my guess is that the saints will try to come out firing to make the run game of Steven Jackson non-existent. It's just how serious are the Saints gonna take the Rams to start the game. Maybe it takes the Rams hanging around for a quarter or 2 before they "put the pedal to the metal". I'm gonna stay away from the halftime line until I see that killer instinct in the Saints from the get-go... but it can certainly happen

The Rams have won just three football games in their last 28 tries. For that they can primarily blame their offense which is amongst the worst in NFL history over that period. The Rams offense has accounted for seven touchdowns in eight games on the season, and they have one INT returned for a TD. They rank dead last in the NFL, scoring just one of those seven offensive TDs from inside the 10-yard line. Overall the Rams average less than 10 points per game. It is very rare to see a total set in a game at or around the 50-point mark with just one offensive team in the game. The Saints offense is certainly powerful, but to put this one over the total it is likely they will have to push the 40-point mark. The Rams have played in just seven games in the last three years where a game total exceeded 50 points, discounting week 17 when mostly reserves play. The Rams defense isn't great, but they have only allowed 40 points or more in a game six times in their last 66 games (9% of the time). If and when the Saints open a big lead, they will eventually turn to the running game to milk the clock, and they may even rest starters late in this one. Yes, the Saints have put up 30+ points in each of their last four games. But, under Sean Payton, they are a perfect 6-0 UNDER follwoing 3+ straight games scoring 25 or more. I like this one to go UNDER the total

I'd say Atlanta at only 5-3 is overrated!!!

NO 13.5: i just can't bring my self to bet a ram DD dog vs an elite team. The only question is whether the Saints will be flat or focused and can Stephen Jackson/Bulger keep Brees off the field to stay within 2 TDs? My answer is no. Score: Saints 48 - Rams 9 (3 units)
