Why do people insist on
always talking about last season or 4 seasons ago, It is this year and
the Giants are not the same team they were last year or the year
before. On paper Dallas has the better team, now that doesn't mean they
will win but they will be playing with alot of emotion, new field,
playing the Giants and the fact they want to prove they can win without
T.O.

Excuse me sir, but there is something self-contradictory in your thoughts... Spy talks about THIS Giants team and THIS Dallas teams, so I do, too...I think the same of him about the match..
On Paper I think peaple have wrong perceptions here, on paper NY has the better team:
D: NY OL: NY DL: NY O: runs NY, WRs Dallas...but...what's about QB? and his discipline?
make the sum, sir.

If you remember this game was a week before the Giant/Panther game. The Dallas game was a throw away game, winning it would not have improved NY's position, like the Viking game 2 weeks later, the Panther game the following week was the one they had to win. Meanwhile Dallas was playing for their playoff lives.
BTW the following week Raven ran for over 300 yards against this same Dallas defense and Ware had one sack on their rookie QB.
Ware chasing the NFL sack record had 7 quarters to to make 3 sacks, and 3 quarters of those were against a rookie QB, he got zero.
Where was the get up for the Eagles game when a win would have put you in the playoffs? Don't believe the hype.
Dallas' win was in a meaningless game.
Good teams win games, Great teams cover the spread!

When the Giants get a lead look for them just to run the ball down Dallas' neck, they're see it coming but can't stop it. Dallas on the other hand has to throw, throw and throw.
That white elephant of a stadium is going to be half empty by the 4th quarter.
How many Dallas offsides over/under 5?

The league's schedule-makers didn't do Cowboys owner
Jerry Jones any favors by making the formidable Giants the team's
opponent to officially christen the new stadium. The 2008 NFC champs
have the horses to successfully move the chains on a Dallas defense
that was pushed around quite a bit at the line of scrimmage a week ago,
and won't likely be intimidated by the raucous atmosphere that will be
awaiting them on Sunday. Including the playoffs, New York has gone 15-4
under Coughlin on the road over the previous two seasons. The Cowboys
may need another mistake-free game out of Romo to make up for their
shortcomings on the other side of the ball, a tall task against a
Giants defense that specializes in forcing the opposition into critical
errors.

Wow. A throw away game. If you can justify
a divisional rivalry loss there's no point in
arguing.

O.K. wiseguys tell you what - since you're both so sure of this Giant's ass-whoopin', how about I take the Cowboys +35? Say for a thousand bucks?? - Oh wait, since you both reside in Fantasyland, then maybe I should make the wager for something you'd understand. How about a Jigzillion-hexagonal-mecha-quintillion dollars!!!!!!!! "Crybaby" Manning will be crying for his daddy by halftime!!!!!!! After this game he'll wish he could join the Oreo Double Stuff League for real - at least no one sacks you there......

Dallas look pretty good against TB, maybe a little rusty, but they won and covered.
I took the Redskins last week +6.5 and laughed my way to the bank. If NYG were that good they would have won that game by 10+ points. Giants are getting too much respect.
Dallas on the other hand has a weak bench, but what does that matter all of their starters are healthy. The Dallas starting line is top 3 in the NFL. That can't be said of the Giants.
Dallas offense should wreck shop at home.
Dallas -3

No discipline, (TE) bennett lines up in the wrong spot twice in Dallas' 1st series, the second time they had to call time out. If this guy does not know where to line up in a formation how does he know who to block during a blitz?
Who's the lineman with a girl's name Flozal, leads the NFL in penalties over the last few years.
Horse collar tackles, off sides, you name it, they do it. When the players mess up and come to the sidelines, who are they afraid of? Nobody! Because they're a star, in Dallas anyway.
When Parcells was there you bet they were afraid. When he was in NY i can hear him now, Hey so and so don't forget to bring your running shoes in on Monday.
When the pressure is on, who's going to fold?
Once again, don't believe the hype, don't read your own press.

I know the Cowbillies were everybody's sweethearts the last 2 years and when they didn't pan out they toned down the hype. Romo played a good second half and seats on the bandwagon are now available.
Take a good look at that first half of football, see anything. I'am take a solid, discipline running team with a solid defense over a weak defense and a bombing offense.
Covers on dogs this week:
What’s blue, silver and white, and always cracks under pressure?
If you said a robot Bill Buckner you're not entirely wrong.
The answer is the Dallas Cowboys over the last 15 years.
I don’t care if Jerry Jones
can squeeze half the state of Texas in his new stadium for Sunday
night’s game. It’s not enough to keep me from taking the three points
oddsmakers are giving the Giants.
Not having Chris Canty hurts a bit, but New York’s D-line is so versatile with Justin Tuck and Osi Umenyiora. Just think about how many false starts Cowboys LT Flozell Adams is going to be called for Sunday while trying to get a jump on the two Giant defensive ends.
Pick: Giants +3

i'm a big giants fan but i say this game is a toss up who ever runs the clock will have the kick at the end this year it works up to that in my books. in the cowboys new stadium , cowboys are healthy, cowboys are fired up and romo is playing for his job. giants have a crazy d, not fully healthy, manning can play under pressure, and they are a good team over all and have beaten dallas before look for a hardcore tie

now this prediction is just disresespectful. You were in the 4th grade the last time Dallas won a playoff game? You're just a babe in this game then. I was a sophmore in College. (tellin my age, I'm 34). I've watched every dallas game since 89 almost.
I"m thinkin (no I KNOW) this will be a classic barnburner. It's kinda faulty to think Dallas just gave up yards to a bad TB team. Has anyone thought....maybe TB isn't that bad? everyone slammed Dallas last year for losing to a "BAD" arizonza team and we all know how that turned out. Personally I'm thinking Over 44. I wouldn't play either team. But if you put a gun to my head I would probably play Giants +4, but not with much confidence. This game will definately have you on pins and needles.
and i've been a cowboys fan since Dorsetts rookie season(that's 1977 for you babies) and i will be at this game with NO action. This is a complete toss up. Meanwhile, take the Pats -3 and probably the under in the Titans. oh and by the way, there is a reason why The Dallas Cowboys are America's Team....and Mexico's team. THE DALLAS COWBOYS!!!!

The cowgirls win and cover this one but who cares. I just think it would be awsome if that scorebord falls on Jerry Jones head and if Irvin is right next to him even better. Go birds baby, just not tomorrow. the saints are money in the bank.
