Diehard Dallas fan here.  yeah, I know, that the Giants are better than Dallas.  But if I were you

 

 

take the over.  Taking the Boys is risky, and I'm saying taking the Giants is risky too.  Both teams have motivation galore.  Dallas is desperate for a win and the Giants may be fighting mad. 

 

This game should go down to the wire.

Giants may score 7-10 points on Cowboys turnovers alone.  Hopefully, for Dallas fans Romo just has 1 int this game.  I really can see Dallas winning this one.  Just not confident though.  I'm prepared to see Dallas miss the playoffs.  Spytheweb....I know you will be touting the Giants on here.  GL to you and all of the bettors.  even the hatas

As a Giants fan, Barber scares me, coming off what is essentially a bye week.
 
As a Giants fan the Cowboys being desperate scares me, but them being desperate only makes the game larger for them, which has been proven time and time again to make Tony Romo play like crap. 
 
I think the Giants will get their points, but the key to the game may be the Giants pass rush.  If they get pressure this game is over, if not their secondary and LB's in coverage tend to get really smoked.  I know it sounds simple, but i think it is that simple. 
 
Over probably best bet, agree with the dude above....

Ben really shocked me holding the ball so long before throwing it. You note that late in the ball when Ben started throwing the Steelers started rolling. Steelers passing game was not that good. On draft day i wanted Ben instead of Eli, now i don't know?

Every win for the Cowbillies is a must win. I think this is a good spot for Giants. TC is cracking the whip this week, who's cracking the whip at Dallas? I like Hixon returning punts in this game. I think Dallas will be playing the run first, and Giants have never had any trouble passing the ball on Dallas. NY 11-2 vs. 8-5, and they are the underdogs? No respect. Dallas is the NFL's darlings.

Take the Giants, and getting points too. Giants +3.0.(moneyline) Wait and it maybe 3.5 by kickoff. Plenty of Cowbilly money out there. The wiseguys will play NY late.

I admit. You are probably one of the most educated Giants fans on here.  you and jjmandl.  I always wanted Eli instead of Ben back in 2004.  I actually was worried when Eli when to the Giants. I thought...."oh man, my Cowboys will be in trouble in a few years"  and we all know how that turned out.  Even Dallas fans know that Eli is better than Romo.  I like Romo because he is arguably the 3rd best qb in Dallas history right behind Roger Staubach and Troy Aikman.  But it's obvious he isn't as good as Eli and probably never will be .  I'm ok with that.  He's still our qb.

  Romo will probably screw us again. Dallas def. looked good against Pitt.   Looks like the same match up again 2 weeks in a row for dallas. But this one is at home which is complete opposite as last week.  Giants have a better running game than the steelers, but barber is back for Cowboys.  You never know with the cowboys anymore because qb play is suspect.  could be great, could fail miserably.  Same for their secondary.  Against pitt ok, but next thing you know Hamlin and henry get burned miserably.  giants consistant and you know what you will get.  Betting on cowboys games rough when good opponants.  They have enough to offset suspect def. secondary against bad teams.

I'm still upset over last week - Pittsburgh didn't win - - Dallas LOST!! Say what you will Steeler backers, but you know you were all messing your pants until that final fateful interception from Romo..... Oh well, I can't dwell in the past..... Barber's most likely back this week, and the G-men looked tired last week at home against the Eagles - even with that said, I'm still staying away from this game - better to take Detroit & the points, or Atlanta at home.....





But if I had to pick - Dallas -3.......

Home field is always big this time of year.

Running games and good defense is and has always been key to wins come Dec/Jan.  Thats what both teams did and it was a good football game.  Dallas played its best D this year in an away cold game.

I hope this game ends up a rematch on a neutral field come February.

  Cowboys back at home with a good defense and Barber back.  Now they have 2 good running backs Giants have to worry about.  A faster track will help the Cowboys.  Its like the turf to dirt

Dallas is starting a bad habit of rushing injured players back on to the field, Jerry Jones did to Romo and this week it was to Barber. Barber has soft tissue damage to the foot. Keep in mind that Dallas plays the Ravens in 11 days and should Barber injure that toe again he will miss the last 2 games. He has to play this week because JJ called him out, i even hear Dallas fans calling him soft.

Giants were tired, of winning. 7 in a row, got too easy for them. TC will have them focused this week, Giants have discipline.

Look at it this way, take away all the hype, you have a 10-3 ATS team vs a 6-7 ATS team and the 10-3 team is getting +3.0, where's your money?

One more thing, since Sept 07 the Giants are 17-1 on the road SU. In this game SU means a win and point cover.

all I gotta say is....being a Die Hard Dallas fan, I'm worried about the Giants.  Lil fact.....when 2 teams play each other in the same div.....the loser usually wins over 60% of the time in a rematch.  Giants blew out Dallas back on Nov 2    35-14.   Maybe this is payback time for Dallas.  Dallas really does good at home.  who knows...maybe this will be a push.  As an educated Dallas fan (I know.....make your jokes here) Dallas really is a shaky team to put your money on.  I wouldn't be surprised if this game was a push.      OVer/Under is where it's at.  both teams should be good for 20+ points each.  I just hope Romo doesn't contribute 7 to the Giants.  being a Dallas fan is like being in an abusive relationship.  You know something's wrong...but you just can't stop.  kinda like having a cocaine problem.  I just can't put the Dallas pipe down.  No matter how many moronic decisions Jerry Jones makes.  Pacman, Wade Phillips....calling out your workhorse RB in Barber.... I just hope Jerry Jones doesn't become the next Al Davis. They are both in the same age range.

I live in NY as a JET fan.... everyone I know is a GIANT fan....

do you know what they all have in common?? they all don't want to play the COWBOYS in the playoffs....

this is a HUGE game for the GMEN..... and I like them bouncing back where they are comfortable.... on the road... this is their chance to END the HATED COWBOYS season....

Huge game for Dallas as it was last week for the Eagles.... they will be fighting for their lives..... but the one thing that the Giants know is that they can overpower both sides of the line.... I mean its not even a contest...... Dallas D is soft..... they had an outer body experience against Pitt.... and played good only in the RED ZONE against the SEAHAWKS on Thanksgiving.....

big question is the injuries on the Giants.... they need Ross in that secondary.... If Jacobs can't go they still have 2 solid backs... but if Ross is sidelined than I may change my play...

but for now....

GMEN +3..... they will control the clock and the trenches...

Here's my question:  If the cowboys come out the gate slow will they keep it together?  Will they just give up like they did last week?  No way you could put money on dallas after last week.  T.O. is crying, Barber might not want to play, Witten running "wrong" routes, and Tony person is their QB.  Jerry Jones is throwing people under the bus left and right.  Someone please explain to me how i can put my money on dallas.  Dont say its a must win cuz last week was a must win.  Any help would be great.

saga of Plaxico may doom G-Men, hopefully not but the Boyz have their own distractions with TO and Pac-Man but I still feel they need the game more so they will pull it out.

Romo's proved it time and time again, he chokes under any kind of pressure. I just need to hear that B.J. is deff. playing and i'm all over the Gaints ML.
