Also im sure that the jets front on offense can neutralize the lions monster d line. LT and greene will have a big day.

The phrase "When it look to good to the true it's never is" iam liking that phrase right now... Jet -4 is seem to be too low and too good, especially just coming off a huge lose at home. After that saying
LET THE LIONS ROAR THIS WEEKEND
DETROITS +4 LARGE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Detroit is playing decent football, but this is not a good spot for them. Jets do pretty well ATS vs the Nfc Norris division, although they were shutout last week vs the Pack. I see them bouncing back in Motown.

Many feel the Jets will come out breathing fire in this one after getting shut out last week, and take out their frustrations on the Lions. I am sure New York will score here, but I am not sure they will stop Detroit from doing the same. Don't look now, but the Detroit Lions’ young offense is beginning to gel, averaging 31.8 points per game over their last four games. They have scored 20+ in five of their last six games and are averaging 38 points per game at home. The Jets’ defense is certainly good, but it's not performing the way it did last year, especially defending the pass. The problem for New York is that Detroit isn't a running team, but passes for over 250 yards per game - right into the vulnerability of the Jets’ defense - and Calvin Johnson has proven to be an unstoppable beast this season. The Lions have now gone 5-0 ATS in their last five games vs. teams with a winning record and they can score enough here to be in this one all the way. I like Detroit plus the points.

How is the Lions Offense going to move the ball? Wont be able to throw it........wont be able to run it. I am on the Jets.

GOTTA agree with irisheyez---but i'll dance with the one i brung -pickin the jets to be in the bowl--sorry 'bout last week--lions are a good cover --if they had 7 or more--jets are too strung (stung) to let this one fly by them---jets by 10---o.k. i said it kick me 3x when it's over and add 1

 I have been watching the Lions for 30 years and this seems to be one of the best teams we've had in years. As a HOMER here in Detroit, I am making this 1 of my biggest bets ever. Jets -4 for $1000. Everyone is drinking the kool-aid here again. We have won 4 games in 3 years and now we can compete with a team like the Jets? The only team that we played so far with a decent D beat us 24-10(Minn). The Lions will be LUCKY to score 10. I think Stafford will be on the IR after this game, our O-Line is the worst in the NFL. Good luck to you Lions backers.

Going against our Mighty Lions.  This is the best Lion squad i have seen in a long time and i have been a LIons fan since 1974.  I know your a Lions fan also i guess you don't quite feel the same way but i think you will be suprised tomorrow.  if you are betting the other way.

Why can't we compete against the Jets.  Everyone is making the Jets out to be the 2008 New England Patriots but this is the same Jet team that cost me $1945. last week on a parlay bet that i had bought down from -4.5 to -2.5 and they couldn't score a fucking point and could only get over mid field a half dozen times.  The Jets are not that great of team and OUR Lions will show them tomorrow when Van den bosch and Shu shove the football up Sanchez's ass.

Not a strong play this week, Jets -4.5 ($) coming off of an embarrasing loss. Biggest fear in this game is Suh is a monster and Ryan is a blowhard. But a steady dose of LT and Greene coupled with Stafford going against a good Jets D should be the play.

I am a HUGE Lions fan (Yes, I admit that), but this is an absolute perfect let-down spot for them (and the spread).  Reverse line movement (+3.5 to +4.5).  Betting on football is a game of "what is supposed to happen".  The Jets just put up a goose egg against the Packers at home and the Lions played a fantastic game against a solid Washington squad.  Sanchez has proven that he doesn't play well in windy conditions and the team probably got an earful from Rex after that performance.  I expect a really high scoring game, but a definite Jets win/cover.  The Lions are 6-1 ATS and that is all ESPN (and all other publications) are talking about so you can imagine who Joe Public will be taking.  The Lions would still be getting about 65% of the action of it was a pick.

I've been lurking here a few weeks and this will be my first post.  I'm sorry but I just can't help myself.  Do you know how wrong you are in your comments above?  A reverse line movement would be the line opening at -3.5 and going to -2.5 or -2 with a higher % of bets place on that side(meaning Jets).  All of the sites I'm looking at have wagers on the Jets as 70%+, this is the OPPOSITE of a RLM.  Not sure where you are gathering your info that the public is all over the Lions because the reality is the total OPPOSITE.  I think its hilaruous that you really belive "Joe Public" will be all over the Lions.

I just puffed on something spectacular and now im ready to talk football.....Im a Saints die hard btw....Super Bowl Champs...For those die hard fans like the Lions fans..Been through alot of tough times like my Saints since we spermed into the NFL lol...I hope one year you all can enjoy the Sweet Taste of Victory when the Lions one day win a SuperBowl....I know it meant the world to me this past year...Rigged or not like some people call it, our Super Bowl win....Fuck it we still won the Mutha Fucka lol...Can never take this AWAY!!!!!!! Lions are young and primed.........Jets in town tomorrow....The are pretty good...Mark is playing well but i dont think he will get the Jets to the Promise Land this year...I think Stafford outplays Mark tomorrow but I keep seeing the Lions in the final drive making a turnover. Jets win 24-20....
