Really? why would i bet you $100 Straight up when I can get 7.5 or 8 points.

'ColtPower', read through the Balt-Indy thread again. My challenge was presented, AND with ample time for you to respond. When it came time to put up or shut up, you pulled a vanishing act. You would've won $100, High Roller.
Get that nonsense outta here, unless you want to exchange PayPal info or fund my online wagering account. Laugh.
You're a 'Johnny-Come-Lately' that will very likely sign on with yet another name following this game.
The Jets were winning with a cushion even when Peyton was still in the game those four weeks ago. The result will be no different this weekend. The Addai, M Hart, and D Brown trio won't find a running game to establish. Wild-Card Jets have had a long, fruitless post-season history since Super Bowl III. That's a barren, dreadful era for any team - especially a New York franchise.
A stifling effort once more: NY Jets 20 Indianapolis 17

808PICKYBOY HERE AND I AM A SAINTS FAN. JETS WAS A GREAT SU BET AGAINST THE CHRGERS AND IT PAID VERY HANDSOMELY AS WELL AS MY SU WIN WITH THE SAINTS. I WENT WITH INDI AS WELL LAST WEEK SO I WAS 3 FOR 4.. THE ONLY DISAPPOINTMENT WAS DALLAS AND I SHOULD HAVE SEEN THAT FOR THEY HAVE BEATEN TEAMS THAT BEAT NOBODY'S. THEIR ONLY QUESTIONABLE WIN WAS AGAINST MY SAINTS BUT THAT ONCE AGAIN WAS CLOSE AND QUESTIONABLE ON HOW FULLY INTENT WAS SAINTS TO WIN.
I have to say that this is a hard game to cap or put a finger on who has the edge. It looks as if the Colts are the clear favorites as far as the spread says but with what the NYJets have done in the last 5 weeks is commendable. I have been winning on them and I am actually taking an early lean on the Colts on this game. I personally dont think that the Jets have enough Offensive weapons to keep up with the Colts, but they do have a great "D" no doubt.
This is by far the biggest game that Mark Sanchez has ever been in including all the Bowl games he has been in. This game I think is where the ball stops for the Jets. You are correct by saying that the Colts are the better team in every aspect except for the defense. Manning and the coaching staff has got an answer for every type of defense there is, they just have to figure it out and I think once they do and jump on the lead, it will be tough to physically and mentally get the offense to move and move fast.

[/QuoteThanks for responding 808. Since your a Saints fan, I'm hoping we can do a lillte side wager action when we play you in the super bowl. I'll be at the AFC Championship game Sunday ( 20 yd. line , row 3 , upper deck ). To watch my Colts walk over the Jets. In the meantime I am pulling for the Saints as well. These two teams have been number 1 & 2 all year long in the rankings and will make for a great super bowl game. Let me know about that side wager offer. The bet is a straight up victory, with the loser paying by money order to the tune of $100.

'ColtPower', the operative term was "ample time"; meaning you didn't need to check back, to the rate of say, 808PickyBoy. You put the bet out there, then never resurfaced. If nothing else, to cash in! Laugh. No lost opportunity this week. Send a message on here. (Click my name) and we can go from there.
Straight up, indeed. No spread. No excuses.

By 'Johnny-Come-Lately' (review that expression), I'm meaning you're one of the newbies, signing on in November 2009, and are severely unproven for such smack talk. . .err, writing as it were. Yet, I'm using the term 'writing' loosely with your post below, insulting a fellow member that perhaps likes to hang onto his money when insisting on the spread.
Note: You don't need an apostrophe for plural on 'guys'. See that? It can be GUYS, in lieu of your effort of "guy's". Second, a possessive 'its' also NEVER needs an apostrophe, only the attribuitive. Such as: "Its native habitat is the rain forest". Brush on these, especially when you're sending off slandering missives to others piping in, such as "idiot".
Last, money orders are no less shady than third-party, out-of-state payroll checks. To fulfill our wager, we're talking a postal money order, or? Send details. That said, with what's written above, it ought to double your satisfaction in beating me. In a parallel universe, sure. Not this weekend. <Take notice of the lack of label or libel> Civil, gents wager.

Be lookin forward to our side bro. GL this weekend. I too say that the train stops here for the Jets. They have made me some money but I think that fatigue, experience, and simply outplayed all day will be the factor.
