BEST Thing Giants can DO is make sure mr picks stays IN whole game DO NOT slam him down to the ground and hurt ol limpy bones HE is so slow now it's like watching a turtle play !
Stay YOUR spots G men just pick him off all day and romp home an easy winner !

The line is not out yet, thank you Drayton Florence. I expect the Vikings to be -2 with Favre and +1 without him. (Probably the reason why I'm not setting the lines in Vegas)
This is a toss-up. Probably the hardest game to predict this week (unless the line is ridiculous). The New York Football Giants can be ice cold or red hot but seems to be somewhere in between now. This week they probably get their two best WRs back which is badly needed. The suddenly good tandem of Bradshaw and Jacobs got their mojo back. All this should give Gilbride more freedom to call a balanced game and make the offense potent.
The Vikings seem revived under Frazier with their defense playing well against an otherwise decent Buffalo offense. The big mystery will be the Minnesota offense with or without Favre. Obviously AP and Gerhart can run but against a good Giants run defense. All this makes the Vikings passing attack the x-factor. If it can muster around 200 yards to support the rushing the Vikings could win outright.

The Giants just do not matchup well with the Vikings...
the Giants have never been able to stop the minnesota run game...
if there is one defense that Eli Manning has had a problem with, it's the vikings...
the 2005 matchup was when Brad Johnson beat the Gmen in the meadowlands... Eli threw 4 picks
the 2010 matchup Bradshaw had 7 carries for 13 yards....
Minnesota is home where they play very well...
GL TO ALL!
Minnesota Moneyline
Like your analysis. Especially, about the Giants pass problems of handling the Vikes. However, I do strongly feel Minnesota is in transition right now and ripe for a victory by the Giants.

O.K. Vue - I got Jaguars -3.5, Cowboys +4.5, Jets -2.5, and Rams +10.5 - - this game right here is the only one we both agree on. So I can now say good luck this weekend! For everyone else looking for analysis, here it is. First off, look at all of the key people coming back this week for the Giants - specifically Steve Smith & Hakeem Nicks. Secondly, how many more times do we have to do this song and dance with "Grandpa"? Face it, he's going to play (or at least start), and probably be limping around the whole time handing the ball off, or throwing short screens (especially if Harvin's out, with his "migraine" - gimme a break!). That being said, the Giants have the #2 ranked defense, and are excellent at stopping the run - so you do the math.
As long as "Gashead" Manning doesn't trip over his own two feet and fumble the ball they should be O.K.
good luck everybody

I changed my mind.... completely lol..... I think with the return of steve smith and hakeem nicks Eli will have a good game.... it also opens up the running lane for bjacobs and bradshaw.....
I think it will be high scoring and I just see Minnesota having to match scores late and turning the ball over with either Farve or Jackson
Gmen buck the trend and keep pace with Eagles...

I think your stats and most of what you say is true. But i think the Vikes have been playing on adreniline with the new coach but even if they run the table the best they can be is 9-7 and i really believe at some point this all sinks in and it will be this week against the Giants. They other years they played they were always in contention this year that is all but out the window. Back down to earth this week. Giants need this game to stay in the race in their division as the schedule starts to close out. I think it will be a close one something like 20-17. JMHO

If the G-Men make it to Minnesota, they win by at least 2 possesions. IF THEY MAKE IT. Better "D" and offensively much healthier than Vikes. Remember that the Giants "D" has put out more QB's this season than any other team. I do feel sorry for Favre if he plays.
G-Men 28
Vikes 13

Farve is just playing for his "most games started " record.
Haven't you listened to any of his press meetings this week?
He's not playing for the team, he's got another agenda sorry to inform you all, he need's to fn retire so the Vikings can get on with their rebuilding process!!

Giants win with B. Farve either playing hurt or not at all. He might start but proably wont finish and that means Tarvaris Jackson is the man at the helm - scary !
Ginats -3
