I'm taking the jets w the points here. They've been putting up a good battle, and the Patsy's aren't what they used to be. Their dynasty has extinguished. A division game and the jets are getting 9.5, I'll buy a point to give myself the hook edge. After finishing last week 5-1, I'm feeling confident in my picks

Ive gone 25/30 this season winning 10 parlays. So I might figured I'd start posting to build my rep to help the cause


I believe Jets at home might cover but THEY ARE IN NEW ENGLAND. *cough*  Jets away is payday  *cough*

Brady makes sweet love to the rock every Thursday night since forever.

Seriously.... the Jets in NE??

Even with Peyton point-shaving and trying not to throw TDs, the Jets still couldn't cover +9.5 at home.  But several of you believe they can cover +9.5 4 days later on the road, in a short week, and in a rainstorm?

I'll stick with the chowder-mouths despite the injuries.  I never get into comparisons week to week or who beat who.  It means nothing, most of us ex pro cappers approach games that way.  Saying NE beats the jest easily at home because they blew the doors off a much better Buffalo squad in their own stadium is flawed logic.  The bottom line is the jets simply suck, much more than usual.  The Jets are barely an nfl team at this point. Play Vick, play Smith, play f'ing anybody, it won;t matter this year.

-- Did you watch the game?  Jets had the cover with one minute to go and Geno threw a pick-six.  They should have covered.  Otherwise, Jets had only one game this year that they lost by more than a TD (Chargers).

-- Patriots always play to the level of the competition.  They hardly ever cover DD spreads.  They only win by DD when the spread is 3.

-- Rain should help keep the game close.

This is a forum where we can compare notes and make a decision based on stats and insight. There are a few folks that have great writing skills in these threads, most of us misspell or whatever. Shouldn't matter, this is about hopefully getting better at capping and making money, keep it fun!

Record 6-1-1 this week...

Primetime game makes a difference.
I'm taking the Patriots -10 and the over tonight. If it was a day game I wont. Patriots average at least 35+ points a game. Jets only 17 points. With all injuries on both team I predict a higher scoring game as both team neither can run well. Feels better to put your money on a better team. I am also going by other stats to back up my prediction that I cant mention. It will all change the game if the words gets out. Not being shady cause I already told my picks. GL to all. I'm also a diehard Patriots fan but also $$ over emotions.

NE just hung 80 points in the last two weeks against two really good D's. I see no reason they can't do the same against the Jets.

Capping Vet, There are always spots where you can find value in teasers, I agree that parlays are usually a bad strategy, but I will say that moneyline parlays can be used in certain situations.....as for tonight's game I like the Patriots and the under in a 7pt teaser.....Pats-2.5 and under 51.5......looks good to me, maybe a straight bet on the under 44.5 too, Rex usually plays the pats pretty decent, don't see either team scoring more than 27 tonight......something like Patriots 24 Jets 17....good luck everybody

So I read your posts and don't know why you would want to go hating on the people here, but your choice. Anyway reading this one post, and you appear to rating the jets on the previous week(s) play. You say they suck, and you come to that conclusion from there weekly preformance. So you are comparing weekly stats. Other wise you would have to say its a new week and the jets and england are even.????
