the JETS defense held down Drew Brees and CO. in the dome.... if not for Sanchez giving up 2 tds off turnovers, the Saints would have only scored 3 points (hypothetically)
what makes you think the Giants Defense won't do the same???
this is a much better unit than any defense the Saints have faced this year.... the pass rush is swarming.... and there is no way reggie bush and piere thomas are running the football this week.....
Eli Manning is MONEY in a dome........ the SAINTS new defense is going to have problems with this o-line, jacobs, and bradshaw... I'm telling you this game looks close on paper but at the half you'll see what I am saying...
I can't even believe the Giants are underdogs here...... this is a superbowl team getting points..... amazing.... this doesn't come often....
I'm taking Giants first half....... and Giants for the game.... as well as the Moneyline....
and the OVER... i'll probably reverse it
breakyourbookie....... games like this don't come around often....

well i do agree that the giants will win but there are no guarantees . drew is on the top of his game and eli is not.. i mean eli only scores big on shitty teams.. but then again d's win championships and that is why the giants are champions material. i would have to say the giants win after a long hard search i have done on the game

lol eli manning is not better than drew my man.. where i get that info is all over the net
Brees might be a better option on your fantasy team, but Eli is the WINNER! Brees gets rattled easy, Tuck and Osi will get to him early and change the game. NFL defenses have figured out Brees and the boys....172 yds 0td vs buf... 190 yds 0tds vs nyj...Sanchez threw 3 int only reason they covered. Buffalo shouldve beat em but its buffalo... N.O is a fraud as always and G-MEN will ROLL!

if we are asking who will throw for more yards this year.... well then the answer is Drew Brees.....
if we are asking who will throw for more tds.... well than again, you can say Drew Brees....
but it's 1st down at the 20 yard line..... you have 2 mins to go in the game.. who do you want at qb... the answer is Eli Manning....
Drew Brees can beat up on easy teams.... but when it comes down to the playoffs he's terrible....
if you think I'm wrong than look up his numbers when he was in SD during the playoffs... and with NO during the playoffs.... oh thats right he only made the playoffs once with New Orleans....
Eli Manning also has one thing that Drew Brees does not have...
and that is a SUPERBOWL RING

head to heart... yeah Cincy got some good wins against those teams, has nothing to do with NYG @ NO like I said in another post I don't think the Saints bye week is going to be a factor either way for the most part. But if someone is going to say NYG will come out flat, It has to be mentioned, but it won't matter whoever wins it wont be because of bye anyway.
I was making a point about you basing so much on the last two year's performances of these teams.
This game is a coin flip and it will come down to passion and heart and maybe even a lucky bounce or another horrible ref call which are becoming commonplace every week now.
Best to watch with some drinks and a towel to wave!

Field turf is different than turf. Field turf is actually supposed to mimic grass. But it does beg the question why covers has them 3-0 on grass and 1-0 on turf.
Saints play on field turf too. I think the Superdome was the 2nd venue to get it in the NFL.

Today’s synthetic turf is different in several ways. First, the technology to simulate natural grass has advanced, creating a playing surface that offers traction, stability and speed. Also, the backing on artificial turf, such as that made by Sportexe, boasts several layers to enhance strength and durability. Last — and most important to the players — the fiber tufts of turf can be imbedded in a uniform matrix rather than in “corn rows,” which create uneven traction and stability on the field. The infill can be made from a rubber and sand combination that’s up to 70% rubber, decreasing the compacting of sand — a process that can reduce shock absorption.
The biggest skeptics of synthetic turf — the players — are coming around. New Orleans Saints wide receiver Joe Horn says, “I thought the field was in tremendous condition. It played fast and true and footing was not a problem at all.” Safety Steve Gleason agrees: “The Superdome playing surface was fantastic. It’s in great shape and footing and consistency were never issues.”
Synthetic turf certainly has its advantages, including ease of installation. The Superdome field was installed in 20 days. With new engineering and research efforts on the part of companies like Sportexe, artificial turf is still in the game.

I love NY's defense, in SB 42 they faced the NFL's highest scoring offense in NFL history. NE's QB had thrown for 50 TDs and had just 8 ints.
Even this year with their starting safety and corner out they're still kicking @ss.
Their SB run they faced Garcia, Romo, Farve and Brandy with a banged up secondary, but the machine keeps rolling.
Last 19 on the road, 17-2 ATS.
sign me up. thats some stat. youd have to take the gmen just for that incredible ats record. gmen great on the road. and getting points. i'll be at the local sports bar going crazy. gl to all and win some cash cause christmas is around the corner.

Historically,Giants don't seem to fare well in Bourbon Bowl.
Furthermore, while Giants are undefeated, they've really played crap ass teams ,including Cowboys ,who so far this year have to be the biggest disapointment in the NFL. If not for Romo's penchant for turn overs,Blue would of lost that one.
While Giants Defense typically dominates, they may find themselves on flat feet ,suddenly facing high scoring, non divisional speed team.Kid yourselves not,so far this year, this will be Giants stiffest test .Though Gmen have proven to play up to any challenge do know Coughlin is not hell bent on fleeting achievement of remaining Undefeated vs non divisional foe, with Miami date well circled in February.Giants have had their moment in the light and perhaps this is New Orleans long awaited spotlight to shine under, going for back to back W's vs. New York teams. However ,this one should not come as easy with Eli unlikely to turn over ball like Rookie Sanchez.
Sense a shootout ,worthy of a small play on the over.
