anything can happen.. al of you are saying saints by 11, giants will win..

but i have something to say to you easy pics, if you knew so much about football then you would know that teams that have strong defenses win championships and that is not the saints.. my pic would be giants -3 small play

we are both on the Giants....

Drew Brees is not better than Eli Manning....

    the defense rests.....

Spytheweb.... 17-2 ATS on the road..... one of those games was that fluke MNF against the browns last year.... the other I believe was against the Vikings where they we're road favorites and lost on the Peterson runback...

that is a huge stat and you can't ignor that.

I'm taking the Giants and over.

    Giants - 31
    N.O - 27

Giants come behind for a win with 2 minutes left.

You're barking up the wrong tree Z.
Could help if you understood my post n' get the drift.
This is NOT a "championship" or divisional game...
Furthermore, as a life long Gigantes season ticket holder,
Think I understand the importance of good D..LoL
Hope Giants win but clearly, out of all the teams they've played this year, Saints at home will prove as the toughest test for that
"Dominating" (read my post !) Giant defense.
Non divisional game in a place where NY traditionally struggles,
not a surprise if they lost.Checked up on your recent posts Z...
Like what the phuck is your major mulfunction ?
LOL...I do get a laugh out of it ,as I imagine your fan club does as well ...LoL...But since you claim
" to do much web research " check out a couple of seasons ago ,when Giants lost to Brownies and barely beat Miami in Wembley (game I attended)
Yet managed to win the Superbowl (which I equally attended n' profited quite nicely ,getting 6 and ML) Hummm...yes, those were non divisional games...Get the drift,Get real...
Go bark your crap somewhere else .

kc did good against the giants for a team like them.. i see romo handing them the ball a few times i'm sticking with kc +9.5 at home .

ok think about it tampa is not capable of scoring on good teams.. i mean they only scored 13 points on washington and scored 0 points on the giants.. i think all what tampa can do here on the road is 3 point.. the eagles have mcnabb, if he gets fucked they have vick.. so it don't matter who plays i think philli huge numbers here like 42-7 or 42-3.. taking philli big

    cinci + 9.5

every one looks at cinci as a shitty team.. the only lose they have was to a 4-0 team and they lost by luck.. irisheyez and that is not a proven team?!?! they did 100% turn around from last year, some times i dont get the posts by people... give me cinci to win

anyways if the jags took apart this sorry ass d then payton will too. i mean payton went to seatle and took them apart, he went to miami and won it, arizona came to them and he destroyed them. i think payton will cover the point. i don't think the titans want to even live now lol, smart play take indi early. there is no tricks here the team is just streight up bad this year.

mmm i donno dude i think detroit is not that bad... they average at 21 points a game.. they could score on chicago and the vikes so if they could do the same with the steelers then they will cover.. my line is 10.5 so i'm staying away.. id rather take the vikes

As you struggle being "The bigger man" like your posts indicate.
TRY to improve your reading skills and YOU will discover ,
there's absolutely nothing in my post insinuating that Saints have a superior defense than Giants... You bleedin' idiot ! LoL..
My bet is on the OVER while my personal opinion is that Giants may be ripe for a let down ,which they and most top dogs tend to do ,during the course of a season...
    It's a NON Divisonal game ! LoL...Capito ?? lol
Habib,I am a die hard Giant fan ,betting via head, not heart...
    Hope they win...Hope they go 16 -0 but let's get real...LoL...
Could give a shit about your picks, accompanied with your infantile whining about making "The first pick"
For your sake, hope you Grow up n' give my Girl Drew a kiss for me.

as much as this PROZ is a major pain in the ass.... and as much as I really don't like him....

the guy has been picking winners this year....

this forum isn't about liking eachother, it's about working together to pick winners....

I'm happy you are on the Gmen also, but can you try to change your tone a little bit, just a little....

and if you decide not to, well than I'm not betting against you lol.....

agreed, pro-z has done well in picking certain winners.  you win some..u lose some. Pro-z is cool with me.   I know I can be a  pain for some, but once upon a time u gave me a chance when I was getting crucified. good to see u are still the same level headed person.  I'm not sure who will win, but  I'm leery about picking the giants due to New Orleans being at home.  I'm thinking NY may have a let down after beating up on Oak.  just a thought.  in regards to Eli....I have to agree. One has a ring...the other doesn't.  Drew brees wasn't always the stud he is now.  Is it him?  or is it the team making him look better.  Call me when Drew wins a SUPERBOWL like Eli.  Either way this will be a good game.

thanks Devin.... and you ain't off the hook easypics.....

I have a question.... how good is this Saints defense?

does everybody believe that a new coordinator and safety can completely change the defense around?

I personally don't buy it... I think they have yet to be tested....

    let's look at the matchups

    Detroit, Jets, Philly, and Buffalo....

now granted, they beat all of these teams, so at the end of the day the schedule put in front of them they have dominated....

Detroit.... rookie qb, decent offense, terrible defense.....
Philly.... kevin kolb, decent offense (McNabb gone was huge) and a really good defense....

Buffalo.... just lost to the Browns 6-3.... disgraceful (by the way getting 9 vs. the Jets ) I think Detroit is better than this team....

the Jets.... rookie qb, decent offense.... very good defense (or at least I thought so before Miami)

so they havn't gone against a solid starter..... like Tom Brady, Manning, Favre, Rivers, Cutler, throw matt ryan and schaub in there, Mcnabb, Warner, Hasslebeck, Big Ben, Carson Palmer, and the list goes on....

they have "shut down" 2 rookies, a back-up, and buffalo (lost 6-3 to the browns at home lolol)
    .............................

now this defense is going up against one of the best o-lines, rushing attacks, and qbs in the nfl (Eli is top 10 let's say)....

in my opinion, the defense of the Giants has a better chance than the defense of the Saints of stopping the offense.... (i have gone crosseyed)

but.... we are in a dome.... where the Saints strive..... but so does Manning........

This core defensive unit has been to the big game and the playoffs for the last 3 years......

and now they are visiting a team that really hasn't made the playoffs except that one year when Brees first got there....

and the Giants are getting 3?

    I love it....

plus you can't ignor that 17-2 ATS on the Road.... and I bet most of those they were the favorites and covered....

this is argueable the best team in the best division (maybe not this year) in the NFL.....

    and they are getting 3?

I'll take it all day along with the moneyline....

    GOOD LUCK TO ALL

I hope my rhetoric questions help some people out

this is argueable the best team in the best division (maybe not this year) in the NFL.....

    and they are getting 3?

I'll take it all day along with the moneyline....

    GOOD LUCK TO ALL

I hope my rhetoric questions help some people out

Gotta luv dem Saints. The G-men are the worst 5-0 team this year! All their inflated stats came at the hands of garbage teams. Saints to bring NY back down to earth, and an easy cover, appears possible!

So, the question is: which team is more ready to face truly tough competition?

One thing to remember is that the G-Men do not rattle easily. I do not see a 35-14 Saints win filled with Giants turnovers and quick-strike Saints TD's. The G-Men know that at minimum they have to keep the game at a deadlock, and the best way to do that is to not turn it over hopefully move the chains.

I don't see the Saints making mistakes on offense either. I think Brees is smart enough to realize that the yards will be fewer this Sunday and the defensive pass rush will be the fiercest yet. I look for Brees to cover up and hold onto the ball when the rush gets to him. He knows he can't afford to fumble in this game.

So, when the 4th quarter rolls around, I think those 3 - 3.5 points are going to look very big. If I bet on this one, I'd take the dog getting at least a FG, whoever it is. In this case, it's the G-Men.

Bottom line i don't think you make a lot of money betting against the Mannings.  I think the G-Men bring the Saints back to earth.  Both Eli and Peyton love this stage.

Break a Bookie, pehaps you need a bowl of wheaties to clear the mental clutter...Your points are evident to the common mind of a child . Somehow both you guys amazingly elude my obvious point...Logically,if one makes a wager on the over ,as I am doing ,I am expecting ,hoping for a mild shootout ,points scored on both sides, obviously due to Saints weak defense n' Saints potent offense .With little common sense, one could expect GMEN to shut down Bucs n' Raiders, however I don't expect them to shut down Saints then again, that halftime under 10 in Arizona vs Pats blew me away, much to my delight.GMEN are that good BUT this is NOT a championship game ,let alone a divisional game and were still in  the early part of the season ! Sometimes,It goes beyond stats, to be able to weigh the matter of importance of a game and clearly,
in my opinion,Saints want this game more . Perhaps to put themselves on the map, by Beating the best, much like Bengals beating defending super Bowl Pitt..Finally giving New Orleans legit hope, after Katrina.Out of all cities ,
New Orleans needs it the most and last but not least,
Saints have been on a steady rise during last years, like a good stock...My money is on GMEN to go to Miami but for this non divisional matchup, would not surprise me if they lose to perhaps hungrier home team on the rise, which would make great PR in beating back to back New York teams...
Born and raised in downtown Manhattan, hard core sports fan, believe me, Everybody loves to try to beat New York...
    That is a fact.
Saints have that quality offense that Giants have not seen in their soft schedule.
None disrespect to cowboy fans..well actually...hehehe.
Day you guys get rid of Philipps and Garrett, your team will be on the rise again. Back to the point..
Giants historically don't play well at New Orleans and always seem to lose one game per year to a crappy team.
One could say this Saints team is the cream of the crap, compared to Skins,Panthers,Chefs,Raiders and Cowboys...(Though Dallas has a better D than Saints). Clearly,Brees is a notch above recent adversaries ,therefore Saints should be able to score in the upper twenties like Dallas did on G men.Perhaps there lies difference of opinion...
I would take a New Orleans offense ANYDAY over a sputtering Dallas squad...Find it difficult to bet against my team, naturally
My Only bet as previously posted = OVER
Finally Get the connection Z ???  GREEN = GO

I am eating wheaties, and still don't understand how you compare the Dallas Cowboys to the New Orleans Saints... the Dallas running game is much better than the Saints running game... and your PR theory works with the YANKEES.... that's the New York team that the whole world loves to beat...

Cowboys and Giants are in the same division.... did you know that? they see eachother twice a year plus playoffs.... so they know eachother... those games are always close (when Romo plays) and high scoring.... can't use that game to cap this one....

The point I was making "to the common-minded child" is that the Giants D is much better than the Saints D and has the potential to shutdown the Saints Offense just like the Jets Defense did....

you being on the OVER influences my bet somewhat.... so in other words I am fading you.... now that you are on the over I should probably look at the under...

but the Giants getting 3 is just so hard to pass up.... so I'll be rooting for the UNDER, and the GIANTS

the GMENNN are going to look to control the clock and keep the Saints offense off the field, that's how they always play... and Jacobs is looking to prove his is as good as he was last year.... this game is more important that most people think....

    Good Luck to All!
