I agree... I think they will be really cautious with Sanchez this week.... lost of w/r and rb screens.... maybe a throw to the tight end but now way they are going to test that rediculous corner Oak has... this will be a game where the Jets will be playing clock management and running the football

on the other side of the ball I think the Jets D will contain big-bad JRussell and Co....

this is the black hole.... no offenses perform well when playing there and I don't see that changing with a Rookie qb on the road...

I like the Under but I may tease it just to be safe...

after studying this game i think this is the upset of the week. oakland wins streight up

Jets to cover here.  Their D is tough and Thomas Jones will have another stellar game.  This line is actually too low because of what happened to the Eagles last week so that people believe that maybe Oakland should be only a 7 point dog.  If the Eagles would have beat Oakland like the Giants did this would be a 10 point spread (which it should be).  Every bad team gets up for a game like Oakland did last week and now it is time to come back to earth.

the jets are not what people thought they are.

plus have you looked at past meetings? the jets lost to the raiders a couple of times and never covered that big since the year 2000 i think.

Im on Oakland. The last couple of weeks Sandhead has been looking like a deer in the headlights. Last season the Jets marched into Oakland as a trendy pick for the superbowl. With Favre and co. playing great they lost straight up as 3 pt. favs. That was a different coach and qb so I wouldnt read into too much, but I at least thought that the line would be smaller than 6.

Losing Jenkins has to be a huge blow for the Jets. Look at the Chargers without Jamal. And its not like they were that good at stopping the run anyways. So Bush/Mcfadden/Fargas whichever one it is should be able to put together a nice game. My main concern is can Russell but together back to back decent games. Everytime I see him he looks clueless. He has trouble reading a defense and finding an open reciever and when he does he missing them by 10 or 15 yds.

Oak... people in this forum are actually predicting a win? are you serious? we are talking about the Oakland Raiders winning 2 games in a row?

Oak went to Houston and got Murdered... went to the Meadowlands and got crucified... they beat KC, and the Eagles becuase McNabb thought there were 4 timesouts....

The JETS need this win... and Sanchez is going to play in Cali where it's nice and warm and that's just what he's used to.... I'm not expecting a big day but he's not throwing 4 or 5 picks... which means they will be in a very good chance to cover....

the only thing that scares me is the Jets ATS road record and the fact that Jericho Cotchery is not playing, he is a captain and veteran on the squad...

I forsee Russell throwing a td or two to the Defense....

21-6 JETS.... Defense steps it up without Jenkins in the middle.... this is a must win to stay competitive in the division....

last year was a typical example of a team looking passed there opponent, similiar to how Philly did last week...

Sanchez is going to be protecting the ball this week.....
