Philly gets some revenge for last years home beating they took at the hands of the G-Men.
Colonel i always like most of your picks and you may be right on this one again but revenge i don't think a factor here. G-Men just have to much talent on both sides of the ball and this is a huge divisional game. Eli and the Giants get it done here in a close one. Just my opinion.

I'll probably stay away from this one. I'd like to bet Philly, but am not ready to bet against the Giants. That said, Philly will be tough at home in a Division game. Plus, remember what happened to the Giants last time they were on Prime Time against Cleveland. A win would put the Division out of reach, but I think Philly will get it done here.

Your opinion is absolutly right. G-Men much more talented than the Eagles. The oddsmakers have me all screwed up on this one.... I fell for the false favorite. Bet the G-Men and make some money. Unfortunatly I already made the play, Eagles --3 $400 loss on this one.

big giants fan here but this is THE place to fade them...i'm leaning Philly but i probably won't play to avoid inner turmoil. the giants could lose by 14 or win by 4

GO GMEN...which team here makes the least mistakes will come out victorious...should be a close game and turnovers will be a factor... gmen was fortunate enough cowboys couldnt capitalize on it last week. the birds havent done anything to impress me and so Im going with NYG+3...I would fade the jets instead...imo
ps: cant forget officiating will be a factor as well...

to explain the line, the books knew that the eagles would be better this year, so they've been dropping some fake looking spreads. giants +3 looks too good for anyone to pass up, but the books know that the eagles will win this game, so they needed to come up with a way to get people on the giants... offer 3 pts and poof, the worlds on the g-men... one thing i've seen repeatedly is that when teams catch identical spreads in consecutive road games, or consecutive home games, they only win it once. hence, i'm on the eagles
as for the breakdown the eagles D is a lot like the steelers only they play in a better division, but the eagles blitz a lot, hit hard, and even have a better backfield talentwise... i know pitt's numbers are better, but they've played weaker competition and the eagles stumbled a couple weeks back, but they're back on track now, winning ball games and still covering spreads, and they have the dynamic playmaker on offense in westbrook that will help them score where pittsburgh couldn't... not to mention a more complete receiving core, and a QB that is MUCH more used to seeing them. Add to all this the fact that the giants won both games against the eagles last year and you know the birds will be rolling in with a chip on their shoulder...
also, respect to a good objective capper tokin, you've got me on your boys... i pulled for yours last year in the playoffs, but i'm pulling against them on all fronts now.

The GMEN haven't played a rough schedule until recently.....they have Eli, who is just above avg QB....McNabb is top 5 when healthy, which wasn't the case in the 2 losses last season. They were without W-Brook in the sacked game....they are very even this year, but the eagles are home and down 2....Eagles 27 Giants 17.

I totally agree....I thought the spread would be vice versa! The bookies are trying to fool people. I think the Eagles are much better than their 5-3 record shows and....this could the NFC Finals preview
