CRAP!!! Oh well!! should of stuck it out and played SD at the half but a no play for me.

Jets vs. Chargers 1H ML -250 (5 units to win 2) - the brain is telling me to take the ML for the Chargers overall but with the possible LT absence I'm getting a little scared off.  Instead I'll focus on the 1H and figure on them coming out early to provide that extra boost for the 2H and getting the fans all riled up.  Brett Favre leads the Jets in his 3rd game and should produce more points against a San Diego DEF that is playing horrible right now.  Philip Rivers should be able to get pass happy with Gates and Chambers tonight, and maybe even Vincent Jackson.  Even if LT doesn't play a lot they still have Sproles who is a shifty back similar to Warrick Dunn in his prime.  The safest play overall is the Chargers full game ML but at -425 juice it is a bit risky regarding the unknown (LT).  I'll stick with the 1H ML and won't have to worry about a backdoor cover/win late in the game by Favre.

 I'm think'in SD goes for the kill, close games tonight will be unacceptable, they NEED to win in a dominant way for confidence sake.

Couldn't get a good feel for this game so I went light. Happy to have just lost the juice with the way the game started out.

We'll get 'em good this weekend. Have my eye on a few games already.

 I notice that you as well are a fan of the 1H bet, as am I.  Had over 7.5 1Q..1H..O22.5, SD -5.5, and parlay SD and Over...finally my 1Q Over hits..took a while, and not a smart move most of the time..congrats to you..here's to ya..

I do tend to like the 1st half plays but only in certain situations. Your Tenn Vols been good to me for a number of seasons at the 1st half at home but not this season.

My basic rule to that is...

1) If you like the fav look at how they play in the 1st half. If they tend to come out strong in the 1st half play why not take them in the 1st half at a lesser spread. I mean you like the fav anyway.

* But be careful there are some teams that tend to play better in the 2nd half of games so watch out for that*

There is a lot more to it but just giving my basic input.

I'll give everyone 2 teams to look for in college play them if you like them...

1) Play against UCLA in the 1st half of games as long as Craft is the QB. His own dad admits and stated that his son since high school football does not start off games well.

* If you played that trend so far 3-0

2) BYU at home in the 1st half of games. This trend has been sweet for me for a long time way before Hall & Beck's days at BYU. This trend has been way more good than bad.

3) Tuesday under special. Not much too say on this one but my friends in here seem to like it and can vouch on how long that one has been good to me.

FYI I posted that trend from when I first started on covers back in 2003 but that trend was good way before that. Probably missed about twice since I posted it. I'm waiting to see if that continues this season.

* there's my free tip play them if you like them if you don't just keep an eye out for it.
