You are correct when saying the Chargers have put up 62 points but what you didnt say is that they have also given up 65 points to Denver and Carolina. In those two losses they have given up 287 rushing yards. If the Jets establish the run game with Thomas Jones then watch out...the Jets have 3 very good receivers and this game could just go the JETS way. I am on the Jets +9 and looking at teasing the game +15 and over 39 for a small play. May even throw a little on the Jets ML.

I think the Chargers come in with a defensive gameplan to stop the running game and get pressure on Favre. On MNF he is going to want to try and make some plays, scramble around, throw off his back foot and while he will get a few off, he will also make some errant throws. I see the Chargers scoring on EVERY possession.. can't say the same for the Pack.

Ball could bounce either way but I'm starting to think this game is an OVER play only.

Favre has a 104.1 qb rating which is 5th best in the NFL right now.  They are ranked 29th in passing yards (375) because they have played one less game than everyone else.  Don't post bullshit.  People will believe you and lose money because you didn't do your homework.

HENRY-LALLY, sorry if you got slammed this weekend and you're in a bad mood on Monday morning but don't take it out on me. Favre also has a 104 QB rating because he hasn't played this game yet, and you can bet it will drop. Phillip Rivers has a QB rating of 122.5 at this point 
  
Agreed I misused the stat because I wasn't thinking, but don't turn around and misuse another stat in the same way. Point is, Favre is the only playmaker on that team they WILL NOT be able to keep up with the Chargers.

After last nights over loser I think I am going to have to play the over again. The total is lower and the QB's are better. I know the books make the totals as high as they can knowing the general public wants to see a lot of scoring and they bet overs more. I can see Farve throwing an interception or 2 leading to even more SD points.

2 things:  I had a great weekend thanks to the Gators, Longhorns, TCU, Falcons and Cowboys.

My stats are sound.  A quarterback rating goes up and down throughout the year.  Passing yards can only go up as the year progresses.  You must be a retard.

You shouldn't be posting here as people will believe your false stats.  But since you are, PLEASE make sure you know what you are talking about.  Just because you want a team to win don't make the stats fit your argument.  We are all trying to accomplish the same thing... pick a winner.  Don't post bullshit that isn't true.

You guys for SD are reading too much into the emotion of the game, but here is the play of the night teaser..... Jets +16 and under 51.5. To show you my balls, I am also going to tease SD -2 and over 37.5. They are going to win by 4-6 points and the total is going out around 45-46.

Obviously you didn't read my 2nd post, I said it was a MISTAKE reading that stat. I don't give a shit who wins since I haven't made a bet yet. It was an error and you don't need to cry like a little baby just because somebody had a typo. GO AWAY!!!!!!!!!

I know 9 points is alot of points....I'm not so sure the Jets will cover.  SD is due for  win.  and most people logically agree this is a good game for SD to get their long overdue 1st win of the season.  But who is to say that Sd makes up for the close game to Denver with a "we can't lose attitude" and just unloads on the Jets tonight and wins by 10?   I would just stay away from thi game.  This game is far from being in the bag for the Jets.  I have the Chargers winning by 8 or more. 
 
Chargers chances of covering for this game -9 are very very good.  Remember this when you lose your money betting on the Jets

Jets Only Scored 20 Points against Miami in week 1, and 10 against New England in week 2. Flying to the west coast. This will be a low scoring game for the Jets.

IMHO the key loss to the Chargers was Turner who is doing pretty well in Atlanta. Turner used to come in and share the load with LT pretty well and now that LT is not at a 100% the Chargers has lost that luxury of having a good back up for LT to continue a solid running game. The Chargers rely a lot on plays that involve LT in the mix and if he is not healthy the Chargers will be in a tough spot on offense.
 
It's week 3 and Favre is probably getting to know his players better at this point and should start bringing the Jets offense to life esp on MNF. He does have the weapons on offense to do the job against this Charger defense who is missing Merriman.
 
I do like the Chargers chances in this one but not enough to make me pull the trigger. I gotta keep my discipline in check sometimes

I am with most on the tease Jets +15 and over 38.  Wondering why the line has not went down considering 60% are on the Jet's. The book's must think SD bay 10+?
