A lot of Favre haters on here...

I am with Big Daddy, with LT banged up and Merriman out it will be difficult for the Chargers on both sides of the ball. I honestly think SD will be happy with just a win so I think 8.5 is too many points to give. Lots of  unlikely Dogs covering this week so far...

I will take Jets +5.5 at half and adjust accordingly if need be. Good Luck Everyone

.......2 all the ppl who like farve remember he is the one who has thrown the most int EVER!!!......SD is bacc home where they will be geeked up for this gm....SD lost 2 gms that they were suppose 2 win.....do u think 3 is a charm?....uhhhhh...no.....will be a slaughter 2nite in SD.......there is always a chance for the jets because this the nfl but im going 2 take my chances with vegas 2nite...cant see SD losing this one and i cant see this being a close gm because the way SD lost the last 2 gms

The jets have certainly been struggling on offense. Chargers have been struggling on defense.
 
Jets played a week miami defense in week one that didn't get it together yet. Week 2 they had trouble scoring agasint a patriot team that got slammed by miami this week???
 
Charger's defense got scored on by 2 offenses that I would say are better than the jets. Late game scores is why they have a 0-2 record. The question is how good or how bad is the chargers defense???
 
I think they will give up a back door cover if that was the situation.
I think it is too many points. BUT THAT SEEMS TO BE THE PUBLIC CONSENSUS. Go with the jets and hope the public is right sometimes....Good luck all.

I was actually looking at taking SD at the half but decided to lay off this game. I was looking at the match up on the Jets defense against Gates & Chambers.

I know that the Jets gave up a lot of plays to our TE's in Miami, so I felt that Gates would have a good game against the Jets defense but then LT not healthy concerned me.

As far as Chambers since he left my Dolphins he has been the go to WR for the Chargers. Chambers knows this Jets team pretty well playing in Miami and has shown up big in games against the Jets, but then again LT not at 100% to open up that passing game.

Jets +9 feels good.  Chargers will likely win, but 9 is a lot of points to give the man who has the most touchdown passes in the history of the league.

look for Favre to toss a late pick or two. Sproles on Special teams is a big plus for SD.  with a gun to my head i would pick SD.

yeah I am definitly liking the JETS +9... the only situation that scares me is the Jets Kicking game....

so Farve is good against the chargers (with GB)... Gates rips the JET D apart (with Brees) .... and the Chargers are dealing with 2 key injuries, LT, though he'll play, and Merrimen....

Did anyone think NE would beat the Jets by 9 in NY??? And that game the Jets were favored....After the first 2 weeks, NE seems to have a better defense than SD. But after the game with MIA, i dont think NE's def is that good. So i think if NE can win by 9 @ NYJ then SD can win by more than 9 @ home. Just a thought!

7 for 7 yesterday. I'm either damn lucky or damn overdue. Your welcome to anyone who went with my Miami call. Coudn't get BigDaddy on board but it's the same reason I don't like betting on the Huskers. Looks like a Jets pick, but upon further review I think the Jets wear down after fighting hard and lose by 9-say 31-20 Chargers. Luck

SD-8.5 and will jump on the 1/2 with my man BigD. SD has to be steaming from that debacle last week. Look for them to take that out on the lowly Jets. Brett Favre cannot recreate the team that was assembled. This is the same vehicle with a new hood ornament.

Chargers coming off back to back SU & ATS losses. Now they are home as a 9 point favorite against a team (Jets) who are 4-0 ATS last 4 against the Bolts. Jets are 5-1 ATS last 6 at San Diego.. I'll lose my money on Favre and the Jets.

Guess the "against the consensus" crowd is popin their heads out.  Gotta say....it is tempting....to go with SD; however I am not.  Being a rOOkie and all and new to the "game" I have learned a lot by observing and filtering my way through the knowledge and experience.  Been beat up and lookin foward to either breakin even or ((((+++++ gaining))))) this season

Careful my friend I'm not touching this one but I did look at the 1st half and liked SD but decided not to play due to LT among the other reasons why I stated earlier.
