BD....i respect ur capping and u r 1 of the best cappers on here....i take ur half piccs all the time because u are good with them...but wat im saying is without LT SD is still deadly.....darren sproles has been looking real good dis season and im not saying hes better than LT but he has been better than LT this season by far....even if LT is injured sproles will take care of his lightweight....i cant tell u who 2 pic and by far i am not doing that because ur good and u dont need me 2 tell u anything...i just wanted 2 say dont be scared 2 pull da trigger on dis 1!!!!.....GL!!!!

Going against the public here and taking SD at the half and game as well as the over 45.

Looking for a 35-21 game here.  It's a beautiful day in san diego and it would be perfect for a high scoring game on MNF.

Also taking a 6 pt teaser with San Diego -2.5 and over 39.5

Jets vs. Chargers 1H ML -250 (5 units to win 2) - the brain is telling me to take the ML for the Chargers overall but with the possible LT absence I'm getting a little scared off.  Instead I'll focus on the 1H and figure on them coming out early to provide that extra boost for the 2H and getting the fans all riled up.  Brett Favre leads the Jets in his 3rd game and should produce more points against a San Diego DEF that is playing horrible right now.  Philip Rivers should be able to get pass happy with Gates and Chambers tonight, and maybe even Vincent Jackson.  Even if LT doesn't play a lot they still have Sproles who is a shifty back similar to Warrick Dunn in his prime.  The safest play overall is the Chargers full game ML but at -425 juice it is a bit risky regarding the unknown (LT).  I'll stick with the 1H ML and won't have to worry about a backdoor cover/win late in the game by Favre.

Ok, I went to the book, the total was 46 so I layed off of that (now it will probably go over) I took SD -8

got sd ml left on a teaser, but im looking for sd to destroy the jets. they need to tee-off someone and its gonna be the jets.    SD -8.5

First I'd like to say thank you for keeping your post at the normal size font

Second I'm not great I just get lucky sometimes but thanks for the compliment.  being that we both don't get along that is a pretty bold statement

Anyway I do like the match up between Gates and the Jets defense and think he will have a good game against the Jets corners. Although Sproles is a good back up I liked Turner backing up LT better. IMO the chargers are more of a threat when LT is in the back field healthy running or catching the ball. It keeps the corners closer up front and makes Gates & Chambers open down field.

If the Chargers defense can put enough pressure on Favre to rush his decision making then the Chargers can win this game. Last week IMO hurt the Jets by running the ball more than they did with Favre throwing. Pennington could never stretch the defense with his arm but now that Favre is here the Jets has the weapons to do it and they might decide to do that tonight.

I would invest in the Chargers at the half but would surely hate to get a back door cover off of Favre's miracle no look hail mary passes that gets caught in the endzone. Favre always has some type of magical things happen to him on MNF for some reason.

I actually changed my mind on this one. I was leaning on the Jets but am going to take SD. LT's toe is getting better while Coles' wheel is getting worse. I'm not a Farve basher but this is a totally different scenario from his MNF days in Green Bay. Rivers is the better QB TODAY and it will show tonight. SD has too many weapons and is really chomping at the bit after their first two weeks.

The Jets beat the Dolphins, then the Patriots beat the Jets, then Dolphins smack the Patriots.  Clearly match ups will be the difference in this game.  Without Favre this would be a blowout, but Favre is a wildcard that makes unlikely touchdown plays possible.  I think the Jets will lose but can keep it within 9 points with a decent defense and an improving offense.

 The Packers look better WITHOUT Favre. He had great receivers that bailed him out in G.B., not so in NY. Chargers by 14 or better. The Jets have beaten a Miami team(1st week) and lost to a New England team that Miami just crushed!! Chargers lost to 2 playoff teams, and 1 was a gift!!

i'm going with the Chargers - 8.  i would like it at -7 but it's too much juice to buy.  look for the D to step up and the O to stay on.  the jets will be average this year, 6 wins.

Panthers didn't make the playoffs last year and I'm pretty sure Denver didn't either.  Still your point is made... both of those teams look pretty good this year.

I cant understand why everyone is on the Jets??? Granted, there getting 9 points, and now they have Favre, but they almost lost to Miami, and lost by more then 10 to new englan (who btw look awful)...

I dont get it...

LT is going to play, and Sproles is good too...These guys are hyped up at home...They got SCREWED last week, there gonna get a bone thrown there way.

The way I see it is, the Jets are the same team as last year, with one addition on there o-line...and Favre. And people are taking these guys against a team who are Super Bowl contenders, and who Really should be 1-1 (probably 2-0)....

I just feel the need to post that the Chargers are going to dominate this game. This is the easiest game of the week to call. Anyone who has money on the Jets is going to regret it by the end of the first quarter.  Believe it.
