wow.... I'm reading this thread and thinking that the bookies are making posts to lure you into taking the redskins....
5-0 against the spread.... interesting..... and they lost 3 of those games!!!!!!!
their kicker can't kick from 10 yards out (like Feely on my JETS) otherwise they would have beaten NO.... but let's get back to....

they beat Oakland on the road (giving 1).... wowwww
we're getting 9 against NO and covered.... NO sucks on the road, they havn't covered on the road in the last few....
they we're getting 9.5 at philly... they still lost the game but they covered....
covered 9.5 against Denver.... they we're getting smoked until Chris Simms handed them that game....
and they covered in Dallas when Dallas was playing horrible.... this is probably their best win ATS.....
so they were getting just under double digits in each of their contests except the Oakland game and now I'm supposed to believe they are a covering machine?
I don't buy it....
Washington is getting 1 point..... if they we're getting 9.5 I would take them to keep it close...
don't let the trends fool you.... yes they are a covering machine AGAINST HIGH SPREADS but they are not getting many pointsin this contest...
1 point... practically a pick'em.... and they have been consistantly losing every week with the exception of Oakland (gradkowski was knocked out) and Denver (Orton was knocked out).....

i'm smart because i WILL bet on the skins against the boys next week. Good situational handicappers know what a letdown is and the boys are primed for an ATS let down. Wouldn't be surprised to see them pull it together and win SU, but they won't cover ATS next week, that was just too big of a win NOT to fade them.
sounds like the books have you hooked bookie... if they wanted you to take the skins they would have given you more points, the fact that they aren't catching anything here is what's important. They have the best defense in the division and the giants have shown to have the worst of late. And you can justify it all you want, but the skins have shown they can play with some elite teams and you can't argue the fact that they are playing better than the linesmaker is giving them credit for. That in and of itself is more than enough to justify their 5-0 ATS record mattering.
Anyways, do what you will, but to me it's clear that the giants are the 3rd best team in the divisiona and i just can't see them sweeping two teams interdivision, especially when this is the skins best chance at a division win this year. The skins aren't bad enough to get swept from within the division. Do what you will, but i'll be cashing on an SU skins win.
