I'm not so sure.  Raiders coming off a buy, i smell a trap here.  I think the Raiders offsense will play alright pushing the total OVER

    The bye week does not effect the Raiders chances. I see 6-0 & an easy cover for the Dirty Birds!

This should be a slaughter. that being said I thought the same thing with the Carolina game. I am going to tease this down with the Rams on a 6.5 teaser. 

Large     really large. 

Raiders have absolutely no defense. That whole organization is one big cluster%#$#.

Strange how Atlanta seems to be playing better on the road this year than they do at home? Normally it's the other way around. I trust Atlanta Money Line at home, always...just cuz of the record. But it still can be risky as they're always due for that loss. But ride em out is the right thing to do.

At first I thought it was a misprint but nope it's legit ATL -9.5 is too steep since OAK coming off a bye week....OR IS IT?

McFadden has faded into a nobody, it's not all his fault though the defense is giving up 31pts and only scoring 17pts per game. So that takes Darren out the game. I don't see anything changing in this one since ATL is putting up 30pts and only giving up 19pts per game. OAK may keep it close in the first half, just because they're rested. But the second half, ATL will open up. PLAY ALL YOUR FALCONS THIS WEEK [Ryan, Turner, White, Jones & Gonzalez]

ATL defense isn't that bad either, they're quick to the ball once in the redzone

Oak has only scored more than 14 points once this year. I'd say this normally may be a trap game but Atl is going into the bye the following week so shouldn't be looking ahead. If anything, they will want to remain undefeated and retain momentum. It's hard to go against Matty Ice at home but the line staying a shade under 10 seems to beg for Oak action. I think the 1st half determines this game. If Atl jumps out early, game over. Palmer has no deep threat or arm any longer. I have Atl in my suicide this week and will stay away. I just can't put money on the Raiders and their penalties/mistakes. Nor do I care to lay chalk of 7+ in the NFL. GLTA

Atlanta's pretty damn tough at home, and they don't lose very many. Especially not to the likes of da bumbalin' stumbalin' Raidahz... Tommy Kelly and DHB being "questionable" hurts the Raiders even more.

9.5 is a lot of chalk, but much like the Bears/Jags last week, I don't see this game being even close.

The '72 Dolphins will just have to keep the champagne corked another week.....

Falcons will absolutely manhandle this weak Oakland Raiders team.

Falcons AVERAGE more than 30 a week. If you think there not scoring 30, AT LEAST, in a game at home against bottom feeders, you are insane.

I'd take the Falcons if they were giving these scrubs 25.

Love my falcons in this one ML. Raiders won't beat them especially not in our house! However, Atlanta has always had problems covering double digit spreads. I'll never bet against my team. But I think the Raiders will cover the -10....

I agree with VUE... the bye week does nothing to help the Raiders. Actually, in the last 9 years, the Raiders are 0-9 coming off the bye. The Falcons are for real. They had an off year in '11 but remember 2010 when they went 13-3? Yea, they are better than that team. I think that the Falcons win big; this one isn't gonna be pretty.
