New Orleans in New York, and I think you are probably right, G-Men win on home field over my Saints. But here with the Raiders and Eli out they should still cover, Oakland can't score on that defense! BOL
My understanding is that it was announced on Saturday that Eli will play.
I'm torn on this one. NYG had their last two games easily in hand, but could leave the backdoor cracked for the late cover.
Week 1 versus WASH, the GIANTS won by a TD, but controlled the game. They were up 17-0 in the 2nd quarter, and eventually went up 23-10 before allowing a WASH TD with less than 2 minutes left.
They got their 7-pt win against WASH (a team that turned out to be pretty poor) and were ready to battle DALLAS the following week.
In KC, the GIANTS had a comfortable 27-3 lead before allowing 2 4thQ TDs by KC and they only average 16 ppg
If NY goes up say 28-6 and then pull Eli, Albert, et al, to save them for the SAINTS, all it would take is 1 TD by OAK to ruin the day. But, can OAK 'capitalize' and score?? They're averaging about 10.5 ppg.

Coming off 3 straight road games and traveling to New Orleans next week, I see the G-Men going through the motions today and coming up short on covering the spread. Raiders and under for me

Giants say they will play out of the gun more on 1st and 2nd down due to Eli's injury. They will try to get a large lead and yank Eli out for rest. Giants Large!
