The great thing about this game is its pre season so the back ups will be playing. The Titans got a great back up QB who likes to score this should be the TItans game.

Playing the titans and now i like the over 35. That's a very low number considering the level of talent, meshed or not in this game. I also like the 1st half to go over 17.5

Titans/Raiders over 35
Titans/Raiders 1st half over 17.5
Laying off the Titans straight.

Am I for real??? Yeah, I'm rolling with the Rrrrrrrraiiiddderssss tonight and taking the points. It's preseason so there isn't much to think about for me really. I like what they have been doing and it just feels like the right play here.
RAIDERS +4 =

Okay, I am also back on the Titans after reading the local Tennessee newspaper and found that the Titans look to punish Oakland's horrid run defense with a rush attack that includes a great set of backs in a spirited battle for playing time. tennessee is easily the more physical team on both sides of the ball.
Add to the equation that it seems that the Raiders are going to be missing their two top corners as well as Janikowski, their field goal kicker.
Oakland is 0-5 their last 5 games overall against AFC south teams, with no loss being less than 4 points.
With isolated thunderstorms predicted for tomorrow, there may be a lot of turnovers. Which of course has me thinking over, since Kerry Collins will get a lot of minutes and could very well easily convert a turnover inot a touchdown a lot easier than the Raiders backups. I have no idea why Tuiasosopo is still in the league. Walter is serviceable, but not worthy of the respect of his peers as Collins is.
So my update is:
Tennessee-3 1st half
Tennessee/Oakland over 17.5 1st half
Tennessee-4
Tennessee/Oakland over 34.5

Quarterback Vince Young and the first-team offense are expected to play deep into the second quarter. Backup QBs Kerry Collins and Ingle Martin are also expected to play. … Rookie Chris Johnson is expected to start in place of LenDale White, but if he doesn't start he'll get in the game early. Johnson will also return kickoffs. … Eric King will start at cornerback for Nick Harper (concussion), Daniel Loper will start at right tackle in place of David Stewart (knee) and Stephen Tulloch is expected to start at outside linebacker in place of David Thornton (shoulder). … Receiver Justin McCareins will get his first preseason action after missing last week's game with a groin injury.
Titans injuries: Receiver Roydell Williams (ankle), cornerback Cary Williams (knee), tight end Dwayne Blakley (groin), kicker Rob Bironas (groin) and linebacker Jorge Cordova (ankle) are out.
RAIDERS UPDATE
Quarterback JaMarcus Russell will start and play until halftime. … Running back Justin Fargas will be very limited as the Raiders give first-round pick Darren McFadden and Michael Bush significant action. … A pair of former Titans will handle the kicking duties — punter Glenn Pakulak and kicker Aaron Elling. Punter Shane Lechler (quad) and kicker Sebastian Janikowski are out. … Cornerback DeAngelo Hall (hand) might not play, which would leave Stanford Routt starting in his place. … Johnnie Lee Higgins will return punts and kickoffs.
Raiders injuries: Tight end Darrell Strong (shoulder), receiver Arman Shields (knee) and tackle Kwame Harris (shoulder) are out. Cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha (foot) is questionable.

Raiders have a lot of talent on the field and should keep it within reach. That running game is brutal with Bush and McFadden playing the full 1st half. GL all

Raiders +10 and over 29 in a 6 point teaser.

VY playing deep into the 1st half doesn't have me favor Tennessee. He is overated since got to NFL, don't get me wrong, great competior and leader, a great college QB, but I think Tenn is more of a threat in the air with Collins in there. McFadden will be trying to make a statement to be #1 over Fargas and also hearing good things about Bush. I do not like that Oakland run defense, I lean more to under, as Tenn. as outstanding defense and if Watch is right with the weather, plus a young QB for Raiders, I see more under.
