All that I know is that if you're going to give me that Bears defense with a 3 point cushion, I'll take it anytime.
Seems that no one learned their lesson when the Bears pounded the Colts. The Bears defense creates more turnovers than the Philly defense and they get penalized less than the Eagles defense. Plus the Eagles played the Rams, a team that can't score anyway, so their defensive totals are a little inflated.
Tampa Bay threw the ball 67 or so times against the Bears because they only got 47 yards on the ground off of 17 carries for a paltry 2.7 yards per carry. Tampa usually averages 119 yards a game on the ground. It wasn't happenin'. And get this, Tampa Bay is second in the league at yards per rush at 5.5-look it up.
Chicago is 7th in the league on the ground in rushing yards per game, and Philly is 27th. In other words, Philly can't run the ball an dthe Bears can.
The Eagles better throw the ball 70 times. But Donovan may not make it through the game if he gets hit too many times. As for Chicago, the Bears quarterbacks are interchangeable, so it doesn't matter who plays anyway. They aren't identified by their quarterback. 5.5 points was too many for the Bears last year.
I am taking this game at +3.5 buying a hook and a jab. It's a smart play for the sharp wagerer.
