Here's my question:
4 team parlay......
Looking at all 4 matchups this weekend.....and looking for value....all the visiting teams have a great chance at winning.....so here goes:

 

Jets     ML +110 (kicked Cin butt last week)

Eagles ML +165 (last year Pitt/Balt.. was the only time I can remember that a team beat the same team 3X in one season...look it up)

Balt     ML +160  (with Welker hurt and Brady banged up...Balt has a shot)

GreenBay   +1 -110 (GB is the better of the 2 teams)

 

 

 

lay $100 to win $2662.............just IMO

What does everyone think?

All are sensible picks, however multiple team parlys are a kiss of death. The books love them. Just take your picks and make straight bets. Beef up your bets on Philli and Balt and take the points. Jets and GB on the money line. Build your bank roll for the Superbowl and then double it on the game. Take your winnings and buy yourself or your girl something nice.

You may hit a multiple team parlay once in a blue moon but you'll break yourself trying to do it.  Good luck whatever you do though

The beauty of sports that catches everyone by storm is the same thing that got My boy in all this Bullshit in the first place.... Storylines... like straight out of a Soap Opera!!!

But the beauty of the Bookie is that sometimes.. if you can seperate the Fact from the Fiction... you can really cash in on it!!

At the end of the day... yes it's hard to beat a team 3 times in one year... and yes the Ealgels are a VERY dangerous team... but we all know the proof is in the Puddin'

At almost every single position the Cowboys not only can and will compete with the Eagles... It is fair to argue that they are the better team on most ends of this spectrum.

Romo will do what he has been doing this whole year... SHUT UP AND PLAY BALL THE WAY HE KNOWS HOW!!!

And after this game... before we go into Minny for a great battle against the Vikes next week... all the rest of you band wagon jumping... tabloid reading... smack talk them cuz they have won too much haters will have to do is....

Find another storyline as to why the hotter... arguably better team will find a way to buckle under the PLAYOFF PRESSURE.. or maybe now they will lose because Miles Austin has a new GF... or maybe Jason Witten has a poor record against Dome teams that start with "M"... come on... PUDDIN' people PUDDIN'!!!!

It will be a very close game... much more of the NFC East grudbe match that we all thought we would see last weekend... But this game means so much more to Dallas than Philly. Dallas will have WELL over 100,000 fans there for the second straight week... and this stadium (that will host next year's SUPER BOWL) has been VERY cofortable for the Cowboys in this just their first year in it.

They have only lost two games here... one early in the year (wk 2) vs. the Giants (who were possibly the hottest team in the league out of the gate)... and that was by 2 points thanks to a Manningesque comeback drive by the Giants in the last few minutes.
The other was a 3 point loss to SD later in the year (when they were the hotttest team in football)... and I don't like to bring up the errors of kickers but.... let's just say it was the beginning of the end for one Nick Folk.

That being said.. and the fact that Dallas comes into the playoffs running on 2 straight shut outs.... Gimmie the Boys and Gimmie the Under

I believe Philly will show up this week. They seem to lay an egg occasionally for no apparent reason but always rebound. Don't let last week cloud your judgement, this is a good football team.

I think the fact that the Eagles have lost their starting Center for the year, plus the fact that they are down to starting their 3rd string Middle Linebacker has to give Dallas a pretty favorable edge.

Dallas beat Philly twice this year. Last week's 24 to 0 beat down. I can see how Philly can turn it around in just 6 days. The game will be closer than last week but Dallas still wins by a touchdown. GLTA

For all who are saying it's hard to beat a team 3 times in one season:  It has come up 19 times in the NFL since 1970.  A team has been beat 3 times in one season 12 out of those 19 attempts.  12-7 is pretty strong evidence that it's not that hard to do.  If you are basing your wager on it being difficult to beat a team 3 times in one season, you need to rethink your wager.

FACT: Since 1970, there have been 18 instances where a team had a chance to beat a team 3 straight in the same season. Those teams are 11-7.

With that being said, the Cowboys haven't won a playoff game since Tony Romo was 16 years old and the Spice Girls released their first number 1 hit. Andy Reid is 7-0 in the first playoff game of the season, and 18-5 against NFC East. Philips is 0-4 in playoffs

I'm on the Eagles +4... if you watch the game highlights from last week, you will see an uncharacteristic Eagles team.... if they play anywhere close to their identity tomorrow night, they will keep it close.... I am betting my money with the better coaching staff getting their team ready for playoffs.... 

If not for Colt McCoy getting hurt on the first drive, I would be trying to double my money right now
