Id take the under....After a high scoring affair the first time these two met, this one shall be different as adjustments will be made. And as a New Yorker I see the New Jersey Giants play every week and last week I saw how they really missed plax in the red zone....look for a lot of field goals on sunday....

My head tells me Giants -7 (10-2 ATS) but my heart says to stay away from this one. It depends on which Philly team shows up on Sunday. I'll take Westbrook for another 4 TDs on my fantasy team though!

7 points is alot... so is 7 1/2 and 8...... these two are division matchups and are always close.... the score usually does no justice to how close the games really are....
it is very possible that the Giants may shoot themselves in the foot and blow this game.... ha.... ha.....
but seriously, if you look at it, the Eagles are playing for their season.... if the GMEN lose, they are still going to playoffs.... so I am leaning toward the desperate team here getting 7....
no matter what the Eagles are going to put up points, and I'm sure they will be more focused on the run game as opposed to last meeting when they built their game plan around Burress.... we have all seen how good Hixon is... but these are tough corners who played very well against the Cardinals last week.... I know they we're home, but still those receivers are tough....
I think the extra 3 day rest is HUGE for Westbrook.... he should have a decent game as long as they don't use him as a POWER BACK, which he clearly is not....
any information if Pierce is still in the mix?
then I have that voice inside my head saying, "are you really going to bet against the best team in the NFL in their home field?"

I'm going to ride the Giants pony until it bucks me off. Made some nice dollars on them lately.

All these things going on with the Giants is going to catch up with them. I see them fading down the stretch. Spytheweb is gonna cry
You would think it would catch up with them but they just have so much talent and they just keep showing it every week. The big thing is Philly isn't playing the Cards this week and they are on the road not in the friendly confines of their own digs. Donovan goes back to the bad Donovan this week and the G-Men cover.

dude i can tell you probably havt played the g men all that much this season. why jump now. i mean the last sentence in your post made the most sense, referrence to home field advantage. the giants beat the best defense in there own stadium a few weeks back. i ll continue to ride the g men. also what do u mean when u say they'll be more focused on there run game as they dont have to concentrate on burress???? i mean one side is defense and the other is offense different coach's for both. okay so they dont have burress to focus on so they can run some more????????/

I can't find the article... but I was reading about how the Eagles built their defensive scheme around Burress the last time they played, which I did think was odd, but thats what the coach said they did.... he went on to say their main focus would be to stop the run.... it was on the Philly Eagles website, I'll try to find it for you..... I have been winning with the Giants as most of you have... but i am still leaning towards Philly....

This is going to be a close one folks. This is a tough spot for the G-Men coming off of a brutal 6 game stretch, that included 4 tough road wins. They are due for a home game let down like the Cincinnati Bengals game in week 3. There are a million distractions in the GIants camp this week and they also have a huge game next week in Dallas that is on their minds. With Philly blitzing all over the place, Plaxico is a very tough loss. He is the blitz breaker. With him around Philly was reluctant to blitz as ferociously because you can always throw it up to the 6-5 freak of nature. He has scored a TD in 4 of the last 5 matchups. Philly goes man to man on the Giants below average wide outs and blitzes up the middle all day long and keeps this game very close.
