Pittsburgh did have the #1 pass defense in the league. Ike Taylor doesn't get the respect he deserves. He's done a good job of locking dowm the other team's #1 receiver all year. Plus the d-backs don't have to do to much. The Pittsburgh front seven just has to get pressure on Warner and force him into some bad throws.

previous matchups were low scoring vegas makes thier money on this game from people taking the points and those that read into the line. people think off pitt under cowher, tomlin plays a different style. i remember the bucs/raiders game was suppose to be close too. this could be your cowboys/bills type matchup. bills always looked good til they met dallas in the superbowl.

Pitt has faced an average pass offense that is ranked #19 out of 32 (they are dragged down by facing #27 Baltimore 3 times, and #32 Browns and the #30 bengals twice as well as #28 TN). I'm not saying they don't have a great pass D, but the best pass O's they have faced are the Texans, Colts and Eagles (whom they went 1-2 SU against). I had an open 3 team teazer at +6 which is still alive after having the ravens and cards this saturday. I just need to pick a bet to add to it, and i'll get 2-1 on my money with an extra six points coming my way. Here's hoping that the cards keep getting no respect or the total cracking 48.

so am i . i'm saying don't worry about the over people will take the points and thats the part where vegas can afford to pay out the 60% who take the over

Okay but then I can say Arizona has faced an average defense ranked 15th and a pass defense ranked 16th and they haven't played well against good defenses this year. I'm not saying they don't have a good passing offense but of the teams in the NFL with top 10 defenses Arizona has played 7 of them. Their record in those games is 2-5 SU and ATS. Washington had the #4 defense Arizona lost 24-17. Dallas had the #8 defense Arizona won 30-24. The Giants had the #5 defense Arizona lost 37-29. Philly had the #3 defense Arizona lost 48-20 and won 32-25. Minnesota had the #6 defense Arizona lost 35-14. New England had the #10 defense Arizona lost 47-7.
You can also say that Arizona arguably played in the weakest division in football and their offensive passing numbers are misleading because of that. They played the Rams twice who have the 19th ranked pass defense in the league and the 28th total defense in the league. They played San Francisco twice who have the 20th pass defense in the league and the 13th total defense in the league. And they played Seattle twice who has the worst pass defense in the league and the 30th total defense in the league. Not to mention the other bad pass defenses they've played this year (Carolina 16th, Minnesota 18th, Atlanta 21st, Miami 25th, and the Jets 29th).

WOW. We finally agree on a game. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I'm with you on that PITT ML though, probably give the points too.

Cards +13/over 42 10 units tease
When all is said and done this is the Stupid bowl and any team can win it once they get here. Steelers have been the better team defensively all year but Arizona has come on strong at the end and Kurt Warner can throw agains't Pitts secondary, my only real worry is if they can score enough to get over the total but i'm betting they can get it over 42 and the 13pts is just too good to pass on. BOL to all it's been a nice year for most.

I also think the week off favors the Steelers. Arizona's offense has been really hot and i think the week off may cool Warner down some. Plus the time off normally favors the defense.
He had a perfect game. Look at Mcnabb, played great and finally came back to earth. Don't forget th eeagles played a brutal game the week before (Giants) they were flat and sluggish. I'm a cowboy fan and dont want the Steelers to win, but they are going to kick some ass!
