matchups very important in football. Maybe philly didn't want to play man on boldan & fitz so they didn't blitz as much.Maybe Pitt brings pressure on KW because they are confident in their coverages. That's why coaches get fired. No one game plans fumbles, dropped passes, dumb penalties. These are still pro athletes as much as we as gamblers th.ink they suck sometimes.Bet the game sit back & enjoy & hope you win.

With all due respect, I'm sure you know football But Donavan did drive them for three scores to take the lead , their kicker had a bad day and the defense gave way. They just had a shit day at the wrong time. BOL

Question: If early money is on the OVER then why did the line decrease to 46.5 today?

No one should be putting real money on the over in a PIttsburge game but hey, sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.

Question?  What do you think the line would be during the reg. season if played in Pitt OR AZ . Better yet would you bet this game if their were 12 others on the card?  Just a thought

Pittsburgh did have the #1 pass defense in the league. Ike Taylor doesn't get the respect he deserves. He's done a good job of locking dowm the other team's #1 receiver all year. Plus the d-backs don't have to do to much. The Pittsburgh front seven just has to get pressure on Warner and force him into some bad throws.

previous matchups were low scoring vegas makes thier money on this game from people taking the points and those that read into the line. people think off pitt under cowher, tomlin plays a different style. i remember the bucs/raiders game was suppose to be close too. this could be your cowboys/bills type matchup. bills always looked good til they met dallas in the superbowl.

Just Placed my first bet on this one. Will be placing Q wagers, 1/2 time, and totals. Plan on cashing in on this game with AZ giving Pitts a run.

    AZ +17 (bought 10) -710

Pitt has faced an average pass offense that is ranked #19 out of 32 (they are dragged down by facing #27 Baltimore 3 times, and #32 Browns and the #30 bengals twice as well as #28 TN).  I'm not saying they don't have a great pass D, but the best pass O's they have faced are the Texans, Colts and Eagles (whom they went 1-2 SU against).  I had an open 3 team teazer at +6 which is still alive after having the ravens and cards this saturday.  I just need to pick a bet to add to it, and i'll get 2-1 on my money with an extra six points coming my way.  Here's hoping that the cards keep getting no respect or the total cracking 48.

You're 100% right. I feel the same way but you can not NOT bet the Super Bowl.  It's sacreligious if you're a registered user of this site.  I do see what all the hype about the over is at this point.  I really dont see it as the lock early money makes it out to be.

zona gives up big plays and pitt throws down field. with zonas defense they cant keep pitt off the feild so they will have to throw. big ben threw 33 passes against baltimore. both qb's will have over 30 attempts.the total going down is making people think to hard on the total thats the whole point of it going down, people are looking at the points as the +7 as the easy play. if you play the under your saying arizona will not score much. like less than 10 points because pitt will score. fitzgerald will have some success .

Gotta go with Zona getting at least 6.5.  Gotta look at some prop bets too.  Going heads on coin toss!

Okay but then I can say Arizona has faced an average defense ranked 15th and a pass defense ranked 16th and they haven't played well against good defenses this year. I'm not saying they don't have a good passing offense but of the teams in the NFL with top 10 defenses Arizona has played 7 of them. Their record in those games is 2-5 SU and ATS. Washington had the #4 defense Arizona lost 24-17. Dallas had the #8 defense Arizona won 30-24. The Giants had the #5 defense Arizona lost 37-29. Philly had the #3 defense Arizona lost 48-20 and won 32-25. Minnesota had the #6 defense Arizona lost 35-14. New England had the #10 defense Arizona lost 47-7.

You can also say that Arizona arguably played in the weakest division in football and their offensive passing numbers are misleading because of that. They played the Rams twice who have the 19th ranked pass defense in the league and the 28th total defense in the league. They played San Francisco twice who have the 20th pass defense in the league and the 13th total defense in the league. And they played Seattle twice who has the worst pass defense in the league and the 30th total defense in the league. Not to mention the other bad pass defenses they've played this year (Carolina 16th, Minnesota 18th, Atlanta 21st, Miami 25th, and the Jets 29th).

    Cards +13/over 42 10 units tease

When all is said and done this is the Stupid bowl and any team can win it  once they get here. Steelers have been the better team defensively all year but Arizona has come on strong at the end and Kurt Warner can throw agains't Pitts secondary, my only real worry is if they can score enough to get over the total but i'm betting they can get it over 42 and the 13pts is just too good to pass on. BOL to all it's been a nice year for most.

Steelers win this one easy. The defense will dominate and Willie Parker will run wild (Wild Willie) Take them less seven points. Big Ben will have 2 SB wins. One more than Brett Farve and equal to John Elway. Cowboys,49ers, Steelers 5 SB's each. Steelers take the lead on world championships. Steelers 30 Cards 20

Cowboys fan here. Lets see here, we have to deal with Jerry Jones, T-Oh-no, and Romo Butter-fingers and Garret getting exposed as an offense coordinator.  Notice Garrett aint getting other head coaching jobs, I wonder why? Lets keep our head up! Next year we got Barber,Felix, and Choice, perhaps the best backfield in the league. If only JJ could hand the reigns to his son and strap some grey tape over T-Oh's mouth, we just might get to the Playoffs and win a darn game. Anyone got some stickem for Romo's hands or a manual on how to not throw Int's in big games..that might help.
