PIT has been walking a high wire act most of the season, including their win over BAL earlier.  Their record is a testament to how solid a squad they are.  However, I think BAL is on the rise and the Steeler's luck turns the other way this weekend.  BAL -2.5

I love that the line moved up to 3 and I love that everyone is on Baltimore. Keep riding Baltimore. I'll just watch the line move up to 4. Pittsburgh has a chance to clinch the division and a first round bye with a win here. This should be a primetime game with the flex scheduling. STEELERS ALL DAY. I'm riding them to the Super Bowl. And just to clear up this whole who will be in first thing, here are the rules for a tiebreaker within a division.
If, at the end of the regular season, two or more clubs in the same division finish with identical won-lost-tied percentages, the following steps will be taken until a champion is determined. 
 
1. Head to Head
2. Best won-lost-tied percentage for division games
3. Best won-lost-tied in common games
4. Best won-lost-tied in conference games
5. Strength of Victory
6. Strength of Schedule
7. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points allowed and points scored
8. Best combined ranking among all teams in points allowed and points scored
9. Best net points in common games
10. Best net points in all games
11. Best net touchdowns in all games

Okay let's not rewrite history here because I watched the Steelers dominate 3 quarters last week. They caused 3 turnovers and held them on downs another 2 times in the first half alone. Pittsburgh had 2 fumbles in the first half and missed a field goal. Dallas easily had a better 3rd quarter but Pittsburgh completely dominated the 4th quarter. When you outscore someone 17-0 in one quarter that's dominating. Bottom line Dallas was lucky to be tied at the end of the first half because Pittsburgh was controlling the game. Pittsburgh had a bad 3rd quarter and then blew them out in the 4th. On my count that would put Pittsburgh up 3-1 in who won what quarters. No clue why you think Dallas was soundly beating Pittsburgh for 3.5 quarters.

Ray Lewis is a great ILB but Farrior is having just as good a year if not better. He has more tackles and sacks than Ray does. And I'll take James Harrison over any of the Ravens outside linebackers.

Why is the this line moving so much for Baltimore?  It seems like the public is taking Pitt!  Something tells me the books are loving the Steeler action and want ppl to load up on them!

The line went from Balt -1 to Balt -3. The public is obviously on Baltimore. Why are you saying it seems like the public is taking Pitt? I can't wait to load up on Pittsburgh. Hope the line moves to 4 by Sunday

I did look at the box score. Dallas had 50 more yards than Piitsburgh (the majority of those coming in the 3rd quarter which I said Dallas won). Dallas had a 1 minute advantage in time of possession. Dallas had 5 turnovers, Pittsburgh had 2. 4 of those Dallas turnovers were in the first half. Maybe you should go back and look at the box score DUDE. I'd say Pittsburgh should have been up at least 6-3 at halftime. Dallas won the third quarter and Pittsburgh dominated the 4th. Even Aikman, Joe Buck and the rest of the FOX studio crew said Pittsburgh completely dominated the first half and that Dallas was lucky to still be in the game after turning the ball over that many times. SO PLEASE SHOW ME ON THE BOX SCORE WHERE DALLAS DOMINATED THE GAME?

Tease Pitt to +8.5, if Pitt is to lose it won't be more than a touchdown. Their defense is toooo gooood.

Exactly look at red zone efficiency. Pittsburgh was in the red zone 4 times compared to Dallas's 2. Turnovers were 5-2 in favor of Pittsburgh. And I said Dallas had 50 more yards and 1:00 more in time of possession. Those aren't dominating numbers. Pittsburgh should've been winning at the end of the first half and they outscored Dallas 17-0 in the 4th. Dallas obviously outplayed them in the 3rd.
 
Doesn't matter Pittsburgh covered that game and they'll do the same thing this game. A win is a win, a cover is a cover. I don't care how it happens

I don't think King Ben is ready to give up his reign of the AFC North to Joe Flacco yet. Maybe sometime down the road.

Yeah Stalker - you just keep thinking that as Ben "I'll hold the ball as long as I want" Roethlisberger is getting sacked for the third time & throwing his first interception. Wait there's no way that could possibly happen to the Steelers, right? Except it did - the last time these 2 met - IN PITTSBURGH!!  - Another example of a "lucky" overtime field goal win for Pitt - that game could have gone either way. Hmmm that term "lucky" seems to come up a lot for the Steelers lately, now doesn't it.....


Oh, and I don't know what you're idea of "dominating" is, but being held to just a field goal up until 7:20 left in the 4th quarter is not what I consider "dominating" a game. If that's the case, then we better watch out for the Lions to be "dominating" on the road against the Colts this week - gimme a break........

I dont think Balt matches up with Pitt too well this season for a couple of reasons. If the Steelers get they're  running game going ( see Giants vs Balt ) it starts to wear down Balt's aging DEE , opening up the pass game for Roth . Second, and I think most importantly, is the Steeler pass rush. From what I saw in the Giant game , Flacco gets really uncomfortable when he's pressured. Of course if the Steelers cant accomplish a running game, throw all this out the window because like someone mentioned earlier, Roth holds the ball way too long, and may get carried off on a stretcher ( and I mean no disrespect or wish no harm to anyone ) but really, they might KILL him. Anyway 34' ? Love the over. BOL to all

WHAT A GAME ! ! !
 
I cannot wait to see this football match between two of the hardest hitting Ds!
 
There's gonna be some hurtin' in this game!  Wonder how many players will be knocked out...
 
Both offenses will commit numerous turnovers against these complex defensive schemes, to say the least.
 
But Steelers real worry comes to their offensive line protecting Big Ben, because the Ravens D will come out head-hunting.
 
Although the big-game experience advantage goes to the Steelers, the Ravens D is lead by The Man,  Ray Lewis, who has a Ring of his own.
 
Flacco shows great poise for a rookie. He also has a strong arm and the acuracy to match.
 
Playing in Baltimore, Flacco and the Ravens should get the necessary energy from the home crowd to come out on top.
 
As long as the line stays under 3, i will take Baltimore all day long and twice on sunday.

          Maybe you should research things before you post!  Most books have the public betting on the Steelers 55-60%.  Which is why I said something funny is going on!  I think the books want the Steelers action!  By the way Stalker, Pitt hasn't won in Baltimore since 2002!

from pittsburgh here and ill have to say im taking the RAVENS, will be a close game but i think a turnover loses it for the steelers in the 4 th quarter, and also THE STEELERS WILL STILL BE IN FIRST IF THEY LOSE THIS GAME!!!!!! THEY HOLD ALL TIE BREAKERS WITH THE RAVENS, EVEN IF THEY LOSE TO THEM AND IF THEY BOTH WIN OUT THE REST OF THERE GAMES, AND PEOPLE TALK ABOUT OTHERS POST WHEN THEY ARE WRONG, SINCE WHEN ARE THE STEELERS AND RAVENS IN THE NFC NORTH.........

As of now (sat. nite) 7 touts were on Balt. and 3 of them are Game of the Year picks, "GOY"= FADE.

Last time they played, Pittsburgh was battered and bruised after a 15-6 loss in Philadelphia the week previous and had dropped back-to-back games against the number.

Now 11 weeks later, they are on top of their game and are 3-0 ATS!!
 
I will take the Steelers all day long.

sorry for the raiders ejdav, next season maybe, but i'm a steeler fan and i think defense can stop flacco, maybe with 2 interceptions, and a scoreboard like this:

pitt 28

bal 17

the line is +3 'cause pitt is away and is 0-4 ats playing in baltimore..........

but if afc & nfc defense #1 stopped dallas i think baltimore is not a problem...
