took the steelers -6 , think the line will rise very quickly - motivation is the key to this one, the steelers have to beat the worst AFC to outpace the ravens. Steelers will play wihtout any compromise...

Buffalo has played some good football lately but i think its time for them to suffer a beat down and nobody better to do that than the Steelers. For some reason this line seems awful fishy -6 over the lowly Bills even after that beat down of Cincy but then again who is CIncy. I'll take the bait -6 it is.

This is my other big play for the week. All of the sharps will be chasing last weeks losers, thinking they have good value. Only to fall in the same trap. I've been doing this for year's and learned one important rule, always follow the trend. If the fav's are dominating, keep taking them. Pittsburgh at this price is a gift from Vegas. The Steelers might be up two touchdowns after the first quarter. Pittsburgh -260. Thank me later.

90% of the public is on Pittsburgh and the line won't move. I don't care if the sharps control this business, if this is all public betting, the line should have moved somewhere, but it's not.
I want to take Pittsburgh, but there's something fishy about this line. I don't like it.

Exactly what I was thinking - this is just like the Browns going to Jacksonville, or the Raiders vs. the Steelers last week. Both games which had the same situation as this one. Crap teams win two, three, or even four games in a row - usually flukes, or against even crappier teams - and all of a sudden their "red hot" and "on fire" "will the Raiders be representing the AFC West in the Superbowl?" "are the Browns the best team in the AFC North?"
Vegas loves the public buying into it - especially people who are fans of these types of teams. Now, I'm usually loving the home dog, but let's get real here - Buffalo has won 2 games all year - a squeaker vs. the friggin' Lions at home - and last week against the Bungles - where they were actually losing 28-7 at one point. On the other side of the coin, we have the Steeler's losses - by a field goal to the Ravens - which was a touchdown with 32 seconds left, at New Orleans, and the Patriots. Take the Steelers, give the 6 - and on the opening drive, watch Roethlisberger & Co. march down the field, score easily, go up by 7 (thereby covering the 6), and never look back.

BUF +6.5 (1unit)- may wait til gametime to pull the trigger if the line is bet up to 7. The Steelers are 0-9 ATS since January 2006 when they scored at least 35 points last game and covered by at least a TD. They're also 0-7-1 ATS since September 18, 2006 as a road favorite when on a 1 game SU and ATS winning streak and 0-6-1 ATS since October 22, 2006 on the road the week after scoring 34+ points. If the public continues to pound the steelers, i may raise the unit. GL
