Did I miss the Philly/Dallas game? Dallas didn't get outplayed by Philly, Romo choked with the fumble and gift interception. Dallas was at home and down at the half and still beat them...Westbrook is an absolute stud which is why that game was remotely close.
 
I don't think Pitts has an answer for him either. Dallas didn't run on Philly and neither will Pitts, but Dallas could throw on them but Big Ben being hurt won't have that same success.
 
Take Philly and buy the hook to 3.

Although Pitt has a good passing game, I believe they will not be able to keep Philly honest. Pitt cannot hit deep passes like the cowboys can with Witten and Owns. I think Philly will put the pressure on Ben and keep Parker limited.

The Eagles are coming off a short week by suffering loss by the Cowboys on Monday night. McNabb looked good although they loss he showed what kind of player he really is when healthy. I like Westbrook and he can make big plays coming out of the backfield running or picking up yards off of short quick passes.

The Steelers defense is very tough against the run and should be able to contain Westbrook. If the Eagles give time to Big Ben like they did at times to Romo last week they will end up getting burned once again. The Steelers have turned the ball over just once in 2 games that shows great discipline and very hard to beat a team with those kind of stats.

IMHO converting on third downs will be the key in this game as the Eagles failed to do so in the 4th qtr many times against Dallas on Monday. The Steeler defense has been very stingy so McNabb & co. better hope that they are not stuck with a lot of 3rd and long situations come Sunday.

Leaning on taking PItt final +3.5 in this one but will wait till later to pull the trigger closer to game time.

Decided to stay away from the sides in this one and touch the total instead. By looking into this match up a little more I felt that the total was a little on the lower side for this game.

I like reading all of the Steeler hater mail, It just proves that people let their emotions get involved in betting.  Anybody that knows the game will realize that Pittsburg always plays to their opponent.  The smart money is on Pittsburg in a really tight game.

McNabb is looking better then he has in 3 years. This Philly team is no Joke. If they can hang 38 points on a tough Dallas defense I can see them easily doing the same against Pittsburgh!

Steelers +3.5 (2 units) vs. Eagles - the public is drooling over this game and the Sunday night game just because of the history of all 4 teams.  Also, the public tends to remember only the previous week when betting too.  They're thinking of that high scoring game in Dallas for the Eagles, and then that low scoring snoozefest in Cleveland for the Steelers.  Philly lost that heartbreaker on the road this past MNF so I expect the Steelers to come out better.

I'll third that, Pitt native and diehard fan since '73.  I heard this same noinsense in '04 when the Eagles were 7-0 and we spanked them 27-3, should have been even worse but we took some starters out.  Steelers win straight up tonight, no play for me, won large on Fla and Miami yesterday so today is fun and coast out the week.  GLTA.

Yes the '04 game was in Pitt, they did not do well on the road - last year, so far they are 1-0 on the road this year.  And anyone who knows football knows this is by no means a rivalry game.

I agree obes. I can't get that high scoring affair out of my head. At first glance Philly looks good, but that Pitt defense is a 100% better than Dallas'. Might put a small play on the Steelers.

Pitt's D might be better than the Dallas D. BUT they are gonna be on the field an awful lot. Pitts O is gonna have trouble moving the ball. Parker is good, but he's no Westbrook. Close till the half, then the Eagles take over... GL to all

im a Pitt fan and there is no way they are gonna cover this.  Philly did great on the road in Dallas.  Pitt blew last week.  And will continue to blow against better teams and on the road.  Now if Pitt plays Cleve every week they might have  a chance.

Wow, how knowlegebale.  The Eagkles get 28 points of gifts or blown calls, that's the only reason that game was close Monday.
